In the Space City plaza, General Gordon was on stage, unveiling something new. Everyone in town arrived at the plaza, just as they made it past the orange, yellow, and red leaves on the ground covering the streets.
Forster, Ellie, and Kathy arrived wearing their Autumn sweaters, coats, and scarfs, with the rest of the people in the city. "Why do you think the General wanted to hold up a meeting for the entire city to see, at the beginning at October?" Ellie asked. "I don't know, but we better get pumpkins after this," Forster answered. "This Autumn air is getting under my skin, through this coat." General Gordon arrived with Mother Borg, and something under a long sheet on stage.
"Ladies, and Gentleman," Gordon announced. "I called you all here for a good reason. It's 2020, meaning we're closer to the future, so I am proud to say that it's time to dump the home security robots, and install this new security system." Mother Borg removed the sheet, and revealed a device, that got turned on by the General, once it was unveiled.
A machine that was square, had wheels on the bottom, and had an orange light behind a core of it. The bottom of it opened, revealing orange static, which formed a woman engulfed in an orange light. "I guess Gordon's getting into the Halloween spirit early this year," Forster said. "He created a banshee." "I'd like to introduce you to, E-V.A.," Gordon announced. "Our new functional living computer." "Well this is definitely something you hardly see everyday, due to not coming," Ellie commented.
"Thanks to Professor Moran, and the other scientists of NASA, we have created E-V.A. to help power Space City, and every building within it," Gordon explained. "E-V.A., do you have anything to say for your position?" "This unit is happy to help the race of her creator," E-V.A. said. "She shall make sure each, and everyone will be protected." A man raised his hand to ask a question, after the computer spoke. "Yes, what's your question?" Gordon asked. "What's going to happen to our security robots, after we install the new computer system to our homes?" the man asked. "Good question," Gordon answered. "NASA, and I talked it over, and decided. The security robots will be inserted into android bodies. Bring in the supplies boys."
A soldier came on stage, and carried boxes, with the Cyber-Tech Industries logo on the front of it. "Come by, and bring your security robot to this location, and we'll install your security robot to this location," Gordon said, pointing at the screen. "And with that, the speech is over. You all may return to your Halloween shopping." E-V.A. returned to the computer box, while a soldier carried her to town hall. The crowd separated once the presentation ended. "Wow, a new computer for Space City," Ellie commented. "I hope we won't lose ASHED because of this." "We won't lose ASHED," Forster explained. "Gordon just said."
