Chapter 15: Day Of Fear.

Ellie, and Forster spent the entire night together in their apartment, while E-V.A took care of them. Forster, and Ellie then woke up the next morning in their bed, and stretched after getting up from another night.

E-V.A came into the room, carrying a tray that had bowls of Count Chocula cereal, toast, and orange juice. "Good morning, masters," E-V.A said. "This system has made breakfast for you while you slept." E-V.A then brought the tray of food to the bed, and gave it to Forster, and Ellie. "E-V.A tell us the date before you give us our breakfast," Forster said. "Yes master," E-V.A responded. "Today is Saturday, October 31st, and the temperature in the air is 67 degrees."

"I wish I had an alarm clock who can explain that," Forster commented. "What time is it?" Ellie asked. "It is 7:30 A.M," E-V.A answered. "You have enough time before the party you are planning." "So, are you planning on showing me your surprise costume now?" Forster asked. "I'll show you later tonight," Ellie answered. "It's too early."

The doorbell then rang, catching E-V.A's attention. "Masters, someone is at the door," E-V.A said. "Should this system vaporize whoever it is?" "Not until we see who it is," Forster said. "Now get me my bathrobe." "Yes master," E-V.A said, and extended her arm to pull out the white bathrobe that belonged to Forster, and placed it on him. E-V.A then gave Forster a pair of slippers with the bathrobe. Once everything was on, Forster went downstairs, and got to the front door to see who was knocking.

Forster, opened it, and found that it was Heidi, and Pete wearing Doctor, and Nurse costumes. "Hey there, neighbor," Heidi said. "Happy Halloween." "We just came by to see if you wanted some candy bags for your Halloween party," Pete explained. "So we decided to deliver these treat bags for you." "Our robot maid helped us prepare them," Heidi added. "You have one of those too?" Forster asked. "They were delivered to every neighborhood," Pete answered. "They sure are helpful with everyday tasks we give them." Ellie came down to the living room with E-V.A, and noticed that Forster talking to the neighbors. "Oh good morning, and Happy Halloween," Ellie said. "You gave us quite a surprise when you began knocking on the door."

"Well, we better head back to the grocery store to get more candy," Pete said. "Enjoy the treat bags we brought you." Heidi, and Pete then returned to their home, just after leaving the treat bags. "We have some nice neighbors, don't we," Forster commented. "Now we have snacks for our Halloween party. I'll go put the treats in the space lounge, after I get dressed. Then I'll come back here, and get my costume on." "Okay, but be careful," Ellie said. "I have a sudden suspicion that there might be something terrible happening. After all, Donnie did fight a ghost last year." "I'll keep my eyes open in case," Forster explained.
