Chapter 3

Oliver and Felicity came back from their honeymoon a month after the wedding. They were greeted in the Foundry by Diggle, Roy, and Lyla. "Hey, welcome back!" Lyla smiled as she walked over to hug Oliver and Felicity. "Hey, how was the honeymoon?" Diggle asked, smiling. "Very honeymoon-like," Oliver looked down at Felicity and smiled. Roy and Diggle looked at each other, Roy, with his eyebrows raised. They all laughed after a moment of silence. "Well, what have we missed?" Oliver asked Diggle, referring to 'Vigilante stuff'. "Well," Diggle's smile disappeared. "Helena's back in town," Oliver's smile turned into a frown. "Since when?"

His happiness was blanketed by a coat of fear and hatred. "Since Wednesday," Diggle said. Oliver exhaled. "Felicity, I need a location now," "Way ahead of you, Babe. She's," Felicity squinted at the monitor. "... on Maple, turning onto Howard. She's moving fast," Oliver walked up to Felicity and looked at the monitor. "Dollars to donuts, she's mobile," Felicity swiveled around in her chair to look up at Oliver.

Oliver turned around and went up to the glass case containing his new suit that Cisco had designed and his bow and arrows. "Oliver, are you sure about this? You haven't done this in a month," Diggle asked. "Yes, I'm sure. But, I'm gonna need backup," Oliver said. Diggle nodded. "Suit up, Roy. You're going, too," Oliver said. "Yeah, about that, I can't go," Roy said, regretfully. "Why?" Oliver walked up to Roy with one eyebrow raised. "I'm promised Thea I would go with her to dinner and if I bail, well, she might dump me again," Roy said. "Okay," Oliver understood completely what Roy was going through. "Go get dressed, Roy. You got a date," Oliver smiled. Roy smiled back and ran upstairs into Verdant.
