Waiting

Oliver, Diggle, and Roy sat in a waiting room for about 4 hours. "I can't take this!" Oliver shouted and went outside to breathe. Oliver came back into the waiting room and stood standing. "Any news?" he asked Diggle. Diggle shook his head. Oliver started tearing up again. "What if she...?" His voice broke. "She's not Tommy, Oliver. She's alive," Diggle said. "You don't know that for sure!" Oliver said loudly. The door opened. "Mr. Queen? Do you want see your wife?" a doctor asked. Oliver nodded and followed the doctor.

Oliver took a deep breath and opened the door. There he saw Felicity on a bed, looking out a window over Starling City. Oliver knocked quietly. Felicity turned her head to face him. "Hey," Oliver said quietly. Felicity replied, "Hey." Oliver walked over to Felicity and sat next to her. "How are you feeling?" he asked. "Still hurts, but I'm okay," Felicity gave him a smile. "Don't worry about me," "Hey, in sickness and in health, right?" Felicity giggled. "I'm sorry I put you through this," Oliver said. "What? How is this your fault?" Felicity questioned. "I shouldn't left you there," Felicity rolled her eyes. "So, how about we go out to dinner? Thursday night?" Felicity smiled and nodded.
