It was the time of year for Chan's annual company party. A party for employees of every branch and division to come together and have an excuse to brag about all they had accomplished throughout the year to anyone who would listen, and get tipsy on the free cocktails provided by the company. The drinks were the only thing that could get most through the evening of speeches and insufferable stories. Chan had to admit, he often enjoyed going simply for the sake of observing how intolerable his fellow coworkers were off company time, and how the others would make themselves look foolish towards the executives and head of the company with no memory of it the next day. It was free entertainment for him.

The only difference this year, was that he hoped he would finally be able to bring his plus one. He hadn't mentioned it yet, but going with Misun would only make the night better. If she didn't go, Chan wouldn't want to go either knowing he could be spending his time in better ways. It was good to show his face at company events, but that meant nothing to him if it meant spending time with Misun instead. Her accompanying him meant he got the best of both worlds.

Sure, she would be surrounded by more people who were close to wasted and most of the people he worked with had a superiority complex, but the setting was more professional than a bar. If anyone tried anything, they would be doing so in the presence of the people who hired them. Plus, he knew Misun could hold her own in a situation.

He made his way to the cafe, knowing Misun would be on her break in about ten minutes. Stepping into the cafe, he was greeted by the warm ambience and familiar sounds of the coffee machines and patrons. But his favourite part of entering the cafe was always the girl behind the counter, the girl he called his. Her smile was always the brightest fixture in the room, her personality a breath of fresh air compared to the others who were going about their normal routines. God, he was so lucky to call her his.

Their eyes met as he made his way to the counter, her smile widening as she saw him. Her eyes sparkled as Chan's heart doubled its pace. He still wondered how it was possible to feel the same way every time he saw her, the feeling of when he had met her for the very first time. She never failed to prove that he was undoubtedly and completely in love with her. He knew, how could he not know with the way his body and thoughts reacting around her. He was sure she knew, but he had never said it. He had in the way he held her, in the way he kissed her, the way he looked at her, but never out loud. Those three little words were said with everything he did, but they were never vocalized.

He knew he wanted to change that, and he had no doubt in his mind that she felt the same, but he wanted her to hear it. He needed her to hear it.

"Good morning, sir. What can I get for you today?" Misun asked once he reached the counter, a playful smile on her lips as she asked.

"Hm, are you available?"

Misun groaned, "You did not just try and order me off the menu, you're so lame."
