You

"Did you seriously answer B on question number 6?" I looked over and Ruel had a pencil scrunched between his lips and nose in a wooden mustache. I snorted uncontrollably, I tried to contain it but that just made it worse. I finally calmed down and Ruel was watching me as he grinned, "You have an adorable laugh." My face got hot I turned away so he wouldn't see, "Ruel did you even here what I said about your homework." When I looked over, he was writing something in his notebook. I tried to peer over his shoulder at what he was writing but he shut the book quickly I tried to grab it but he held it above his head and I laughed jumping to try and get it but he was much taller than me. He stopped when his mom came in and said, "It's time for dinner" "I should go. Thanks for letting me come over." "See you tomorrow." he said. It hit me that I had seen him almost every day for the past 2 months. Were just good friends, I think....

Ruel

"Wish I knew what you're thinking, words don't come that easy we might be broken by design. I can't help how I'm feeling scared of my own reasons I don't want to waste your time." I wrote in my notebook. I can't stand it when she laughs with her adorable snort, knowing that she doesn't like me. She hasn't told me anything like that, but I can tell by the way she turns away whenever I complement her and the way she always breaks eye contact first. My writing was interrupted by a knock at the door. I went to answer it and did a double-take. I shouted," Xander! You're here!" I hadn't seen my best friend from Australia in months! I'd almost forgotten about him. "What's up buddy!" As he pulled away from the hug, I noticed that he looked different, I couldn't quite put my finger on it. It was strange to think that life went on without me back in Australia, but I guess I had kind of moved on too.
