Training...

I wake to the sound of Johanna yelling at someone, and I'm just happy it's not me. Being the oldest in a large family, I know that drama comes fast and leaves just as quickly, so I have to see what's happening. I roll out of bed and walk into the hallway, and Johanna's throwing stuff at the wall, and Blight's trying to calm her down. I look to my left and see Rachel listening, "what's happening" I mouth at her.

She walks closer and whispers, "President Snow sent a message for her to be someplace tonight with Finnick and Kyle and a couple of the other victors. Then she started screaming, and I heard Tristan walk off muttering to himself."

I purse my lips and wonder out loud, "what's that's all about you think? Who wouldn't want to go to a party with them?"

She shrugs and just says, "I think it's more about Snow forcing her."

I nod, "you're probably right. Let's go out; maybe she'll calm down." Rachel just looks at me, and I say, "what?"

She smiles and blushes, "maybe you could put a shirt on? I like what I see, but she might not."

I look down and see my abs, "yup, you're right. I'll be right back."

I run back and grab the shirt from last night, and I walk into the dining room as I'm pulling it on and as I stick head through the hole, Johanna's right there, angry and on fire.

"ahhh," I jump back, "what the fuck's wrong with you? You tree gremlin."

She just glares at me for 5 seconds before she cracks and starts laughing, and the others are laughing too. "Did you enjoy my scene? I'm going to be an actress," she says as Misha brings in a guy in a white uniform who starts cleaning.

I chuckle and sit down. Tristan's back now that the drama's over. Blight seems to be looking for a drink but is going for the coffee instead. We start eating, and I ask the mentors if the plan last night is still good and Johanna nods.

"So what do you do all day when we are in training," I ask.

Johanna jumps on the subject change from her breakdown, "Blight and I decided to be your mentors in the room during the games, but the 4 of us," she points to Tristian and Misha, "will be talking to sponsors. Only Blight and I can seal the deals with the Richie Rich people and figure out how much they'll spend and what we can get."

I look at Rachel to see if she has questions, and she speaks up, "what happens in the control room anyways?"

Tristan takes this one, "we can see everything. They have a big map of the arena for us to see where you are and the other tributes. And we can see you. They have a camera on you the whole time."

Rachel pushes a bit more, "so there's a running list of gifts that you can send?"

Tristan answers this one too, "kind of, water, food, and medicine, but then you have amazing stuff like Finnick's trident or Kyle's pitchfork, or that sword the guy from two got in your year Johanna. There're just some weapons they don't think of until we're in the room and tell them your special skills."

I nod at this. Finnick got a trident that was extremely versatile for him. It's said to be the most expensive gift ever sent into the games. Compared to Kyle's retractable pitchfork and the sword, it's a technological marvel.

Misha stands up, "you two need to change and be back in 10 minutes; you can't be late for training."

I shove a bagel with cream cheese in my mouth and walk off to our rooms. I see the training outfit waiting for me; the white uniform guy must have put it out, a red and black pullover, white t-shirt, and green cargo pants. I walk out, and Rachel is putting her hair up, and we're wearing matching uniforms.
