operation: bring you back home

evie or ava?

Today was the day, Evie going to be discharged. A day had passed after the call with their other friends and Evie was thrilled to go home, she was bored in the hospital and also she wanted to taste real food.

"Are you ready?" Mal asked as Evie smiled and nodded, Carlos and Blue left an hour ago

"Yeah" she said as they left the hospital room, they got into the car and headed to Mal's apartment where everyone is

When they've arrived everyone greeted Evie, and welcomed her home~ there were lots of Evie's favorite foods displayed in the dining table.

"Finally, I can eat real food" Evie squealed as she ran to the foods, she grabbed a plate and started to eat whereas everyone followed and they all started having lunch.

After eating lunch Evie, Georgia and Caitlyn went to their boutique. Evie scanned around her office and frowned. This was Ava's office~ not Evie's. And thinking about made also thought of Mal and her role in the town

In Auradon, she was known as a villains kid, whereas in Hyperon she was known as 'the good influence'~ but it was Ava's anyways not Evie. And it made her thunk about Mal, Evie was just a person from Mal's past not her present, her present was Ava.

She sighed and left the boutique, she went to Mal's and smiled at her, she didn't say a word and just went straight upstairs to Mal's room. She lie down and closed her eyes.

A few seconds later she heard a soft knocks but she didn't stood up, she just heard the door opened then closed, someone laid next to her hugging her from behind

"Are you okay? I sensed some sadness" Mal's soft voice whispered to Evie's ears, Evie sat up and sighed

"Mal, who do you prefer more, Evie or Ava?" Evie asked making Mal confused

"What?" Mal asked as she stared at Evie

"Well I realized if you're dating Ava then you're cheating to Evie, but if you are dating Evie then you would also be cheating at Ava" Evie said standing up

"Evie, I love both" Mal answered making Evie groan in frustration

"No, Mal. It can't be both" Evie raised her voice as she collapsed to the floor. Mal's eyes widen as she ran to Evie

"Evie" she tried to shake her awake but it didn't work, she was about to yell for the 2 boys but she remembered her room was soundproofed

Mal cursed under her breathe and carried Evie and laid her on her bed. She called Evie's doctor in Hyperion to check on her. When she arrived, she checked on Evie, luckily the doctor said she was just stressed and nothing else. Everyone sighed in relief and let Evie rest.

When Evie woke up it was already 2 am, and everyone was finally asleep, she sat up and saw Mal lying beside her, she had no recollection of what happened to her earlier and all she could remember was leaving the hospital and fighting with Mal.

She stood up quietly and made her way out of the house, she needed fresh air so she went to the lake. She sat in the bench and stared at the stars

"I was looking for you" She heard a voice behind her, she turned around and saw Mal, she smiled at her and tapped the space beside her, Mal sat beside Evie and kissed her head

"You left without a note, I thought you were mad at me" Mal said quietly as Evie exhaled

"Of course not, I just needed fresh air" Evie started "Plus I should be the one who is sorry, I started the fight after all" Mal shook her head

"Listen Evie, I love you~ more than anything, you and Blue are my family" Mal started as Evie listened intently "I don't care who you are, even if you're Evie or Ava, or anyone else~ I love you, and that's all what mattered to me"

Evie teared up a bit "I know, I just~ I was just thinking about lots of stuff" Evie stated making mal nod

"Listen, if you ever question my feelings for you again, just ask me" Evie smiled and nodded kissing Mal passionately

"In a week, we'll all go home" Evie smiled

"Yeah, I'm excited" Evie said

"Come on, let's go home" Mal said as she held Evie's hands, they made their way on Mal's car

"Mal, before we go home~ can we passed by a resto, I'm kinda hungry" Mal chuckled but nodded

They drive-through to the nearest open resto and ate at the car, Evie ended up sleeping in the car so Mal carried her to the apartment kissing her forehead lying next to her and cuddled her close.
