The next day...

Mal stayed in bed, not wanting to get up~ it was no use, Ava hates her, for reasons she could never understand. She rolled to her side and closed her eyes wanting the day to end. She took a deep breathe and gathered all her strength and got out of bed.

As she head downstairs she heard faint voices chatting and as she got downstairs the voice became more clear, she followed the voices and it lead to the laundry room. She saw Georgia and the boys talking, concern and worry written all over their faces

"What's going on?" Mal asked the trio turned to Mal, they shared glance before motioning Mal to sit at one of the chairs in the kitchen

When she was sat, the boys gathered all their might to tell the news "Mal, we wanna tell you something about Ava" Carlos spoke as Mal looked at him confused

"Yesterday, I went to go check Ava at her apartment to talk about what happened between you both but she wasn't there" Georgia started

"So, maybe she just wanted some space and went to the love lake" Mal shrugged hoping nothing was wrong, but judging by their faces Mal knew something bad happened

"That's the thing, I thought she just wanted space so I let it go for the night but I was wrong" Mal grew concerned as Georgia continued her story "This morning I went to the café and Casper thought I was Ava, he said she never came."

*Earlier....*

Georgia walked in inside the cafe, she had a long night last night finishing some designs and Carlos and Jay also told her what happened to Ava and Mal. She felt sad for Mal and wanted to talk to Ava about it later

"Hey Casper" The cashier turned to him but frowned a little when he saw Georgia

"Yes, Ms. Georgia what can I get you?" He asked smiling

"The usual please" Georgia said smiling a little, the cashier nodded but Georgia sensed something

"What's wrong?" Georgia asked the cashier and shake his head

"I thought you were Ms. Ava" Casper said as Georgia looked at him confused

"She didn't come yet?" Georgia asked as Casper shake his head, Casper would always know when and what time Ava come in and out of the cafe, he knows her daily schedule and when she had to work out of town Ava would always frown and tell him he would miss the cafe and that the cafe from where she would go will taste different. Not as good as Hyperion Heights cafe, so it was unlikely that Ava didn't come in

"No" Casper shake his head, Georgia sighed

"She's probably still in bed, I'll go check on her apartment" Georgia said leaving the cafe

*End*

"I went to check on her apartment again after that but the front desk told me she never came back" Georgia frowned

Mal started to sob and shake her, she hoped this was all a cruel joke and that Ava was safe and just didn't arrive home.

And on cue Georgia's phone rang, she checked who it was and excused herself. After a few seconds she came back.

"Caitlyn said we have to head down to the station" Georgia said and they wasted no time

"What about Blue?" Mal asked as they head down to the car

"The care taker have her, we didn't want to tell her yet" Jay said as Mal nodded and they entered the car

The car ride was silent hoping everything was okay. When they arrived at the station they were lead in a small conference room where Caitlyn was. Once they saw the tear stain on her cheeks they knew something bad happened

"Caitlyn, what's going on?" Georgia asked as the group approached the girl, she hugged her

They took a seat in the chairs on the conference room as they listen to what Caitlyn will have to say. Instead of talking Caitlyn grabbed the envelope that was on the desk and opened it. She stared at the photo that was on the envelope before giving it to the group.

They stared at the paper in disbelief.

"Is-is this A-Ava's car?" Georgia asked stuttering as Caitlyn nodded sobbing

"They found it few hours ago, the car was totalled" Caitlyn answered as they started to sob

"A-and Ava?" Mal asked as she sobbed harder, this was the part Caitlyn couldn't find the right word to tell them, she looked down

"Caitlyn, what happened to Ava?" Mal asked as Caitlyn shake her head

"She's gone" Caitlyn said and they shake their head

"Gone? What do you mean gone?" Carlos asked

"Her car was found but she's not, she's missing" Caitlyn said as Mal shake her head

"No, not again. I already lost her, I can't let that happen again" Mal said as she cried harder, they comforted her except Caitlyn

"There were lots of blood inside her car" Everyone turned to Caitlyn "And when they looked for her in the nearby area there were trail of blood but nothing found, no body" Caitlyn said as Mal sighed in distress

Seconds later 2 police officers came in, holding Ava's stuff

"Is everything okay?" Georgia asked the cops and one of them cleared their throat

"We still haven't found her and we checked her car, and found her stuff" The officer said giving Ava's stuff to them as the other officer took a deep breath

"But there's just some angles in this case that's telling us that this accident wasn't really an accident" The group stared at the officer

"We think this was all planned we don't have much evidence, but when something happens or we find another evidence we'll be calling you" They nodded as they left the office and went to Mal's apartment

"What now?" Georgia asked

"We'll find her, no matter what" Jay said

They stayed silent for hours then Blue arrived, when she got there Mal told her everything with the help of her friends, of course the little girl was heart broken but they reassured her that they won't stop till they find Ava.

In the afternoon, Audrey video called Mal and the boys. They pulled a fake smile answering the call

"Hey Audrey, how are things there?" Mal asked as Audrey sighed

"Mal, I'm gonna ask you a question, and you have to answer me honestly" Audrey said not bothering to greet her friends

"Is everything alright?" Mal asked confused

"Let's talk about Evie" Audrey said getting straight to the point

"Okay?.....Ask away" Mal said

"Is she or is she not alive?"
