"LINK! LINK WERE ARE YOU!" Zelda shouted looking around to see if she could see him in the snow covered forest. Link had went out to explore the forest behind the castle like he had done a hundred times before. And just like before he promised Zelda he would head back to the castle when the sun was at its highest.
But this time he hadn't come back on time. Zelda had given him an hour or so before she started to get scared. When the sun started to touch the ground she went out with a group of 3 guard to find him.
"I wonder how far he went out this time" Zelda said to her self. Then Jeff the head guard walked up to her "princess How much longer are we going to keep looking don't forget you have a guest at the castle Impa wants you to meet".
"Yes I know but finding Lin.." She was cut off buy one of the guards "princess I found him" he yelled waving his hands up in the air to get her attention.
She ran over knelling down next to him. Zelda look at the ground where she saw Link, blood all over him and had many stab wounds. His sword and shield were missing. She assumed who ever attacked him took it.
"How did this happen" Zelda whispered to herself. After all Link was the best fighter she knew. The attacker must have snuck up from behind him and struck.
Who would do this to Link. From what I know all he was doing was observing the land. What if one of the guards had thought he was a trust passer. That's not possible he has been staying at the castle for some time now so all the guards should know who he is by now Zelda started to think to herself.
"Well why am I just standing around" Zelda said. She then grabbed Link putting him in her arms and stared to to run towards the castle. The guards then followed the trail of blood left behind by Link.
Zelda stop about half way to take a brake after all she was carrying Link. She looked down at her dress which was ripped and had bloods stains all over it. She didn't care much at this point then continued on.
When she got to the edge of the forest were she could see the castle gates she stoped. She then set Link down on the ground in front if her. "Link" Zelda said softly she heard him moan in pain.
She then picked Link back up and ran through the castle gates. As she approached the castle door she turned around and saw the the three guards running towards her.
"Princess way did you run off like that" Jeff asked. Zelda sighed as one of the guards opened the door. She walked in then looked at Jeff. "Look at him" she said to Jeff then looking down at Link. Jeff took a clance at Link "I undersand majesty" he replied.
Zelda then dashed off to the medical room. She flung open the door seting Link down on the bed then calling for a doctor. Link grouned and Zelda flung her head to face him. She then kneeled down next to him and ran her fingers through his dirthy blond hair. "Everything will be just fine" she wispered to him.
The doctor and Impa then entered the room. "Your majesty what is wrong with him" the doctor said Zelda looked up. She then got up from were she was kneeling "he has been stabed multiple times and you need to stop the bleeding or I fear he might bleed to death" she said glanceing back at Link.
The doctor than nodded and proceeded with his orders. Impa walked up to Zelda who was watching the doctor work. "Zelda" Zelda then turned to look at Impa "is there something you need" she replied. "Yes remember you have the visitor I wanted you to meet" Impa said as she started to lead Zelda out of the room.
Zelda stopped her "I know but can't I just..". "No I'm sorry Zelda but there is something verry impotant we need to discuss with this visitor" Impa said interupting her. Zelda sighed and flowed Impa to the throne room.
