I looked around at the entrance hall. blue and red banners hung from the wall, swaying in the wind. May-sun closed the doors as we walked in further. I stared in shock as the blue and red rug flowed across the ground, golden hem giving it an ornate look.

Tall stone walls rose above us, supporting a smooth stone roof. The castle looked very rustic but still elegant. A grand staircase rose to the second-floor balcony, a dark wooden banister creating a perfect curve.

At the top of the staircase stood a wooden creature. I watched in amazement as it flew down the stairs, small bat-like wings flapping away as they carried the wooden creature down a floor. I noticed a long tail swishing back and forth as it landed. I watched as the tail rose above the creatures head like that of a scorpion. The creature was of average height, with a more lean build.

"so you're the great Josinik," I asked. "People say your evil. But you seem harmless. Sure your a bit scary, but you seem harmless"

"He's not" Naro exclaimed. "he is evil."

Josinik laughed. "Oh Naro. you're funny. I'm not evil. In fact, would you like a drink, Cole"

"Um," I started. "Sure"

"Great" Josinik exclaimed. He nodded to Lily. I watched as Lily walked away with the other flowers.

"So Cole." Josinik started." What do you know about power? Could I take over the dimension you come from? Tell me about it" I stared at Josinik in shock.

"Wh-what." I sputtered. "You want me to tell you about Earth, why?"

"Like I said." Josinik sneered. "I need to know about earth, as you call it, so I can take it over. I need more power, ruling this world isn't enough."

"Oak was right," I mumbled. " YOU ARE EVIL!"

"Why thank you." Josinik smiled. "You are so naive, Cole, my boy. Did you honestly think such beautiful women would care about you? Mind manipulation is so easy on humans. Even when they have powers."

I looked around, shock filling my body. The fog that had encircled my mind lifted as everything Naro had told me drifted into my thoughts.

"I'm sorry Naro. I should have listened." I whispered to Naro. The compass pixie looked at me, then smiled. I smiled as Naro flew off my shoulder.

"It's ok Cole. You were under their control." Naro said.

"Awww. Well isn't that touching." May-Sun laughed as she and the other flowers walked back into the room. "He feels bad."

Rose and Lily laughed, but not before Rose glanced at me, pity obvious in her blue eyes.

"Well since you won't give me the answers, I guess plan b is needed" Josinik exclaimed. May-Sun and Lily laughed, before each grabbing one of my arms in a firm grip. I struggled against the stronghold, any efforts proving futile.

Lily pushed me into a tall wooden chair. I felt rope wrap around me like a snake, securing me to the chair. I struggled against the rope, pulling as hard as I could.

Suddenly I felt the heat hit my face as Josinik blew a breath of blue fire into my face. I stared in horror as my body started to freeze in place. Before soon I was completely paralyzed.

"You know the best thing about this power cole?" Josinik sneered as he walked in front of me. "you can still feel everything." Josinik then punched me in the chest, as if to prove his point. Sure enough, a felt pain blossom from my chest, flowing through my entire body.

"That all ya got?" I asked, trying to keep the shakiness out of my voice.

"A tough guy huh?" Josinik smirked. I smiled at him before my head snapped to the side as The Stump delivered a solid punch to my mouth. I grimaced as the taste of copper filled my mouth. I looked up at Josinik before I spat the crimson liquid in his face. I smirked as the wooden creature growled in anger.
