A habit he has

Niall: He jiggles his knee. Whenever he's nervous, or just has a lot of built up energy, you'll see his leg shaking underneath the table.

Harry: He cracks his knuckles. When he wakes up in the morning, when he's at the studio, and when he's about to go to bed, he'll be cracking his knuckles. It bothered you at first, but you quickly got used to it. Now, whenever you see someone cracking their knuckles, you can't help but smile, as it reminds you of your boyfriend.

Louis: He bites his nails. It's how you can tell when he's nervous. Whenever you see him putting his nails up to his mouth, you grab his hand and give it a reassuring squeeze. It's just what he needs to help him get through whatever situation he's in.

Zayn: He paces. Whenever he's thinking hard about something, you'll see him pacing across the living room. He once paced for three hours straight! At the end of these thoughtful walks, he'll always tell you what he was thinking about. [It's generally about you ;) ]

Liam: He stutters. If he gets upset or mad, he rambles out an inaudible language that not even a master decoder could figure out. Eventually, you just sit him down and make him tell you what was bothering him. Although he finds it embarrassing, you think it's adorable!
