Our Broken Promises [Ongoing]

Chapter 5

I woke up at around 8:15 am and I already ate breakfast. It's currently 8:50 am and I'm going to take a bath.

After mga 20 minutes, natapos na akong maligo. I was getting clothes from my closet when my phone rang. I went to my bed and picked up my phone.

Alyssa is calling...

Alyssa was calling so I immediately pressed the answer button.

["Girl, are you already awake? Or did I wake you up?]

"No, I'm already awake. Nakaligo na nga ako."

["Anong oras tayo pupunta sa mall? Opening?]

"Pwede naman. Para wala pa masyadong tao."

["Ok. Magpeprepare lang ako. Bye! See you later."]

"Ok. Bye." I said and ended the call.

I went back to my closet to get some clothes. I decided to wear black high-waisted jeans and a white crop top with long puff sleeves and I wore my white sneakers. I put my hair in a messy bun and I decided to bring my black mini backpack. After I get dressed , I went to my table and put some powder and lip tint on my face so I wouldn't look pale. Then my phone vibrated. It was a notification from Mes**nger.

[Hey, can I ask for your number?]

To : Grey

[Why?]

I was curious. Why is he asking my number?

From : Grey

[So that I can contact you later. I don't have data so I will just call or text you later when I'm at the mall.]

Ohhh. That's why.

To : Grey

[Thanks. See you later sa mall.]

To : Grey

[Ok. Opening pala ang punta natin sa Mall, para wala muna gaanong tao.]

[Ok.]

After getting ready, I went down na because it's already 9:50 am. 10 am ang opening ng mall kaya nagpaalam na ako may Mommy. Wala siyang pasok pag weekends kaya nandito siya.

"Ma, alis na po ako." paalam ko.

"Hatid na kita."

"Hindi na po Mommy, diyan lang naman po yung mall."

"Hindi. Ihahatid na kita. Pupunta din naman ako sa palengke para mamili." I just nodded and pumunta na kami sa car. It's actually fine din kasi mag-aamoy usok ako pag nag-tricycle ako.

It took us 10 minutes to arrive at the mall because it was kind of traffic. But it's fine because 10 ang opening ng mall. I got out of the car and nagpaalam na ako kay Mommy.

"Bye Ma"

"Bye nak. Ingat palagi ha." paalala ni Mommy.

"Opo."

I walked towards the entrance and called Alyssa.

["Hello?"]

"Girl, asan ka na?"

["Nandito ako sa may Na***nal B**k S**re."]

"Ok. Papunta na ako diyan."

["Ok!"] I ended the call and I can feel her excitement. Dahil ba kasama si Aldrin?
