Life in the maze seemed simple. Work. Eat. Sleep. That was until Thomas came along.

I was one of the first people to arrive in the glade. Being the only girl, there were strict laws regarding the fact that no one could touch me. But when Thomas came up the box, he broke the law. And I didn't mind. Because I loved him.

Our relationship was a secret. No one knew about it. I still get shivers whenever I think about Alby finding out. He might even banish Thomas.

We loved to spend out time in the deadheads where no one could see us. And today was no exception.

"I wish we could lead a normal life. Just you and me" Thomas said. I was sitting on his lap under a tree.

"I wish the same, but wishing isn't going to help us. We have to act" I replied.

"But you know what? Whenever I'm with you, I feel at home" He said flipping me around and kissing me. Behind, we heard someone clear their throat. Shuck!

"And may I know what's happening in here?" Alby said as we stood up to face him.

"Alby I love him. He isn't doing anything wrong" I said.

"Gathering in five minutes" He said walking off. We were so dead.

"Now what?" I whispered.

"Let's see. Come on" Thomas said pulling me towards the homestead.

We got there to see all the keepers already assembled there, waiting for us. Newt and Minho gave us a disapproving look and Gally smirked.

"Let's just start" Alby said

I took a seat beside Thomas and everyone began giving their punishments.

Gally wanted to put Thomas in the pit and I should sleep in the homestead. Minho suported us. Even Newt did. Winston said that it was normal and bound to happen. But Alby, he was angry.

"You shuck heads didn't even care to tell us!" He screamed.

"But wasn't it you who said that no one was allowed to touch me" I countered

"We're in love and it's completely normal Alby" Thomas said holding my hand and squeezing it.

"Thomas, in the slammer now. For one night. And you y/n, are not allowed to visit him" Newt said.

"But I have to. He sould have someone-" I started but Thomas cut me off.

"That means we can be together. Right?" He said hopefully.

"Yes you can. The punishment is just for not telling us. We don't care if you guys are shucking or whatever as long as you do your work. Gathering over" Alby said and everybody went outtaking thomas with them. He smiled at me and winked. I grinned.

As soon as the room was empty I hugged Alby.

"Thank you so much. You're the best!" I squealed.

"I know. I know. But make sure he doesn't act funny with you. We all care for you and your safety" He said smiling.

"Of course" I said before walking out.

"Hey y/n!" He called out. I peeked into the room.

"Yes" I said raising an eyebrow.

"Just make sure that there aren't any miniature Thomas and y/n's running around in here" He said winking at me. I fled.
