Chapter 6: Introducing My Soulmate

Kai's POV

I never thought that I would get a soulmate and one of the Original Vampires at that, but Axel says that he would never leave me and I feel this overwhelming sense to believe him.

I woke up to feeling arms around my waist and looked to see Axel there. I thought that he looked pretty handsome and I'm happy that he is my soulmate, my protector and I am his in every way. I heard moving behind me and turned to see Axel staring at me so I decided to say "You're staring, its creepy" and he scoffed and said

"Well I am looking at the actual meaning of a masterpiece so I would be flattered" I blushed at that and buried my face in my hands while he chuckled and said "You shouldn't be embarrassed at that, and like I said you are a masterpiece" I looked up at that and said right to his face

"There is no need to woo me or anything like that because I am already yours in every way" and for some reason, he had a surprised look on his face and said "Well I didn't think that you would even trust me because of my past and the things that I've done" I immediately said "I would never judge someone for their past, no matter what they've done"

We lay there getting to know each other then Axel gave me an idea, we use Damon and Bonster to get out of here and after we leave, we go to New Orleans to meet his family. I asked after he explained his idea "How many members of your family are left?" He had unshed tears in his eyes when I asked and I regretted asking that. 

"There are 4 members of my family left including me. My brothers Kol, Finn and my mother were murdered, Finn and Esther by Damon and Bonnie's friends and my twin was murdered by Silas himself, it's only me, Niklaus, Elijah and Rebekah left now!" He said with tears streaming down his face. I immediately wrapped my arms around him while he was sobbing and assured him that it was okay and that they were at peace. And tomorrow our plan will be in action.
