Chapter 15: Ripper's Past

Kol/Kaleb POV

I'm not surprised to be honest, it's a good idea that Esther is trying to bring out the ripper again but it's a tiny bit dangerous. Axel can't control himself when he is in Ripper mode and last time we had to bring him out of it, he was overwhelmed with guilt and self hatred. He never opened the door again but now that our murderous mother is trying to bring out Jack again, we are all in trouble.

Axel's POV (September 16th 1888)

I've been stalking the streets of the Whitechapel district for a month now and so far my wretched siblings haven't decided to check it out themselves. They wouldn't be able to stop me though, I am the strongest out of all of us and have 800 years of magical proficiency when they just have their vampire abilities.

Sometimes waiting for your next victim is tiring but the thrill of the chase and kill is exhilarating to say the least. When people walk past me they have no idea that I wait to kill and rip the organs out of anyone unfortunate enough to come across me at night.

Niklaus' POV

Me and my siblings have heard of this mysterious Jack the Ripper and Kol suggested that we go to England to figure out who this is and deal with them personally. Rebekah said that Axel has been missing for 5 years now so we are hoping that these brutal killings aren't him and if they are then what happened to him?

2 Weeks Later

We've arrived in England and there has been 2 more bodies found. Their names are Elizabeth Strides and Catherine Eddowes and of course, like the others they had their throats slit and their bodies were mutilated in ways that even make me sick. "Who the bloody hell is this?" Rebekah asked and we all had a feeling of fear and worry pass through our bodies because our minds went to it being Axel.

"I think that we are all feeling the same thing or rather thinking about the same person" Elijah said and fear went through Kol's body because he started shaking and muttering "It can't be" over and over again. Well I think that we will be wanting to meet this 'Jack the Ripper'.

Axel's POV (4 Days Later)

I've heard news of a boat from America coming into port this morning and I think I know who is on it and the reason that they are here.

The Who is my siblings and the reason is that my killings have probably reached the prying ears of the people in New Orleans and Nik and the others have come to investigate. I won't lie, I'm surprised that I caused such a havoc that the infamous Mikaelson siblings have come to try to stop me, Well I have placed a glamour spell on myself so they don't recognize me but I of course will reveal myself in front of them in an over-dramatic way.

1 Week Later

I've been having fun with this game involving me taunting my siblings but it's time for the game to end and for me to reveal myself.

Just waiting for one out of four Original vampires to find you is boring to say the least but I can say that it is very exciting when they come close to catching me and I teleport away.

I was broken out of my thoughts by being thrown into a wall and held by my neck. I didn't know who it was until I heard the familiar voice of my twin saying

"Well it looks like we finally caught you darling, you've been causing trouble, enough trouble that we had to step in."  I had to commemorate my siblings for finding me, the police haven't even been close to finding me for the month that I have been here and it took the Mikaelsons a week. I think it's time to reveal myself. I took off the glamour, stood up and said

"Well sweetheart, I'm impressed with your skill, it took you a week while the police have been trying for a month"

The fear that overcame his face was slightly satisfying and he was even shaking which filled me with joy. He shakily said "A-Axel it can't be you doing this, you wouldn't"  The chuckle that came out of my mouth was full of malice and I could see him shudder. I could see movement behind him and hear footsteps behind me then my vision went black with a sharp pain in my neck.
