3rd Person POV

Axel was trying harder and harder to deflect Esther's magic and keep his mental block active but through the strain, the door opened and Jack took control. As this happened the mental block fell and Esther found out about Kai and she sent Finn after him.

JTR's (Jack The Ripper's) POV

Finally, I'm free. 140 years locked in this feeble mind and I finally have control. To think that weak, caring sycophant could lock me up in his head. When he was human we both controlled equal parts of the mind, I controlled the more.. violent sides to put it simply while he controlled the more soft, caring side of this body. The fact that I now basically owe Esther for opening the red door and setting me free is not sitting well with me and I don't like having to owe people, I like it the opposite. But now let's think about ways to have fun and in my standards that is massacring every person that just looks at me the wrong way. But there is a weird feeling in my chest, like I'm bonded to someone. To think that I'm going to let my life lie in another person's hands is ridiculous. So just forgetting that, let's cause some mayhem.

Kai's POV

We just managed to get to Lafayette Cemetery when a searing pain in my head pushed me to my knees. There wasn't any witches in close enough proximity to do this so it must be Axel's red door opening and the ripper coming through. So I quickly shout "We need to hurry up, Esther's almost complete!" and of course I heard three vampires run past me to find her. I'll admit, caring for someone is a bit strange and I still don't have a grasp on feelings but having someone care about me is surprisingly nice.

A few minutes later, the pain stopped and I felt waves of sadistic and murderous urges wash over me and I realised that Axel's red door had opened and the ripper was free.
