Chapter 1: 5 more minutes

*Hawks Pov*

Today started as usual. I regained consciousness as I heard the irritating tone of the alarm playoff as it made my wings flinch uncomfortably. Without hesitation, at full reach for being on the opposite side of the bed, I did my best to reach the alarm as I groaned loudly to turn it down.

Before even opening my eyes to see the dark sky for being 4 am in the morning I did my best for recollecting my thoughts.

That dream I just had... What was that about? I mean I knew that I was hanging out with Touya because that's mainly all I dream about but I could not remember what we specifically were talking about or even doing. 

"I now remember," I thought to myself.

My body still felt exhausted for arriving home late from the number of small cases I had to manage as I patrolled around the city. I went straight to bed after that long shift. 

"Man..." i sighed thinking that heroes need more free time, this is just a bit too much for me to handle. Without moving from my awkward position with me facing the alarm while my wings were cramped at the wall behind me. 

At first, I kept telling myself to get up. Then I slowly drifted to thinking about other stuff. Then out of the blue, I slept again. (Great... Just Great)

"Touya... HELP ME!!!" I pleaded out to him but that was not enough. When I saw my surroundings everything was getting darker as soon as he was walking away from me. He was the only bit of light I left had in my life. It was like he could not hear me.

Was he avoiding me? Did I do something wrong with him? Does he know my secret? many questions started wandering on my mind as I could not move from my body, it felt really heavy. It was like weights were placed upon me or I was a helpless civilian under the rubble. 

It was hard to breathe as I kept gasping for air. I felt tears streaming down my face as if my life was on the run. A flush of emotions that my fatigued mind cannot even comprehend. 

Why is he leaving me? Is this a nightmare? It can be. Wait I'm supposed to be getting my ass out of bed. The realization came in as this is not real! WAKE UP HAWKS!

"Aaahh!" I screamed then I sat up immediately as my wings speeded out from being shocked. I felt the cold drenched sweat on my body. I also happen to got teary-eyed from what just happened. 

Shit it's like I ran in a marathon! Why is this nightmare keep happening? Do I need to tell someone about this? All of my thoughts went away as I immediately saw the time.
