Chapter 3: Just Shut Up

*Dabi Pov*

"Anyways let's get on with the meeting," Shigaraki said.

I hate meetings if I'm being honest. What's the point of all the formality if we all knew each other.  I just really want to get over with it so I can walk around or chill in my room I guess. 

I was just facing down on the table listening to some of the words Handymanny was saying while occasionally checking my phone when notifications light up, mostly headlines about cases around the area. It's not like I come to contact with anyone else other than the league.

"Anyway for the next few days, I'll send you out to the new warehouses for the checking new Nomus that are being developed". I sighed as the meeting kept ongoing. 

"Why does time go by so slow when it's boring?" I thought to myself without really thinking about an answer.  Like I said, I really just wanted to leave this boring place and go somewhere else, but where though? It's not like I have a home other than this. 

"Have any questions?" Kurogiri asked but nobody asked anything.

"That settles it, meeting adjourned". We all left the meeting room and I felt Toga catch up to me.

"ARE YOU EXCITED TO SEE THE NEW NOMUS?" She asked in a very hyped up manner. 

She became fond of those Nomus ever since she discovered that some of them were capable of talking. I did not answer her question but she kept on ranting.

"I really really want to be friends with them". For some reason, I could not handle anyone's rants. I mean sure I can consider Toga safe and can handle some of her bullcrap but today I just can't. 

I gave her the impression that I did not want to talk to anybody by ignoring her but NO she still is blabbering random bullshit at me. Could she not tell? I mean she can be stupid in general sometimes.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey" She kept repeating as she was pointing me at the side of my shoulder with her pointing finger to get my attention like some sort of kid. This is it, I swear is she still does this one more time I'm going to snap.

"He-". "WHAT?!" I said, shit I shouted a bit too much I think. She was startled by my aggregation and everyone around could see it. A moment of silence kicked in as we all just paused and stood there. 

The big grin on her usual face was gone and in exchange became a sort of sad face? for the looks of it. The humiliation though Fck this. I would feel bad for her right now but I'm fucking pissed. 

"Cut it out you two," Kurogiri said to calm the atmosphere. I didn't really help to be honest. 

"Come on Toga I think he needs to cool off a bit. I'll kill you if you do that to her again!" Twice said to me as he patted Toga on the shoulder. Not threatened or anything. 

"Pft. What a mood breaker," She said with some sas, we all knew was referring to me. I just really want to punch her in the face right now, But I didn't. I guess even here there can be drama. 

"Since you're a good girl, let's go out and get some ice cream" Twice catering to her like a parent. Then she replied "really?" Toga said with a burst of excitement and her normal self came back. "Of course" Twice reassured. 

"YAYYYYYY" she celebrated as she skipped out to the doorway humming pulling Twice's hand along. We went on our separate paths as I went inside my room and locked the door shut.

Toga's always that person you can rely on to liven up the place. Sometimes she can get on my nerves but she gives the most fun out of all of them. I thought of as I went to lay down on my bed hands on the back of my head as I faced off the ceiling. 

Do I need to apologize to her? Guess so. I inhaled deeply and just continued to stare off somewhere thinking about what the fuck is going on about me. Recalling some past memories and getting a wave of different emotions. 

Out of it, I threw a pillow at the wall pretty hard. Something fell on the ground as I heard two thuds on the floor. I checked out to see what was it.

*Hawks Pov*

I paused from walking as I looked down picked the phone up from my pocket and the word "ENDEAVOR" in all caps was calling as it kept on vibrating. I answered the phone and placed it up beside my ear.

"Sup Endeav-"

"WHERE ARE YOU NOW YOU ARE LATE FOR THE MEETING TODAY!!!" I suddenly came to the realization that I had a meeting today and I'm now about an hour late. 

"Crap," I thought to myself as I flew straight up and as fast as I can to go to the station where the meeting is being held. "IF YOU DONT GET OVER HERE NOW IL-"

"Ya ya ya I can't hear you that well the signal pretty weak at this area I'm headed there now" Lied and Imediently hang up the call as I tried to get my shit together. How did I forget I had a meeting today with other pro Heroes. 

Man, I really need to start to get stuff sorted out. With no other thoughts in mind, I was focused on reaching the station as fast as I could. To carry on with the meeting that happens every month or so. I could see the station just now.

 I glided down and reduced speed so that I could land off my feet gently. I wonder what the others would say about my tardiness.
