The nineteen-year-old waved her family goodbye, closing the car door. She drove down the desolate country road, looking up ahead she could see the farm. She took a turn, pulling into the gravel driveway. She closed the door, walking up to the porch. She knocked on the door but received no answer. She looked into the window, the place looked torn up.

She stood on the porch, letting the wind rush through her hair. Snapping back to reality, rubber her head, she proceeded back to the car. She opened the door, the headlights blaring to life. Her great grandfather stood still in a daze, his hands shaking.
