13. I Know Your Secret

Previously:
Izuku trained non stop for the last few weeks and got a lot stronger plus a lot closer to Tomura. He's learned how to use all of the weapons that he got from Mei and has become more confident in school.

Izuku POV: (braver persona)
Right now I'm at the same old abandoned building that Tomura trains me in.

Apparently, this lesson is to see how much I've improved so it'll mostly just be sparring.

"Alright Izuku, pick a weapon."
All the weapons had been once again laid out and after how much we visit here, we ended up getting a table for uh- uses.

It's already worn out after how many times Tomura's bent me over on it.

I walked over to the table and started to look through all the weapons. Again, there was one that caught my eye from the start. One that didn't really suit a hero but it was really beautiful.

The scythe.

It was black and green and REALLY huge but boy was it powerful.

I remember when I was learning how to use it - I nearly decapitated Tomura. Ehehehe...

But since I know how to use it properly now, I want this to be the weapon that I finally defeat him with.

I picked up the scythe and stood a few feet away from my opponent.

"So you picked the scythe? Makes sense, I could tell that you've taken a liking to it. Start when you're ready."

I took a deep breath and gripped the handle of my weapon. I held it to me side and got myself ready to attack.

I lunged forward and flung the scythe at Tomura. Of course, he dodged. What? You expected this to be easy or something?

I tried again and this time started to fling it faster and faster. I spun it in my hand so fast that it created a big gust of wind. Perfect.

A little trick I came up with. It can do serious damage too, kinda like a shredder. That's why I named it The Shredder.

I ran forward and tried to back Tomura into the wall. When he ducked to get out of The Shredder's range, I quickly stopped spinning the scythe and instead used it to swipe him off of his feet.

He stumbled into the wall but to my disappointment, he didn't fall.

This time he came at me while I swung the scythe, trying to hit him. He landed a kick to my stomach just before I jumped back. I couldn't avoid it in time.

He came at me again with a punch but this time, I dodged. Instead, I used this opportunity to land in a kick.

Over the past few weeks, I've learnt that you don't need to just use your weapon when you have one. I can punch, kick - use my whole body. A weapon is only there to assist me.

He stumbled back again, still not falling down. I swung the scythe again and again but I couldn't hit him, he kept dodging.

Dammit. How do I do some damage to him?
Hmm. I have an idea.

I ran forward towards him but this time jumped up and came down with my scythe on top of him. He dodged but of course I saw this coming. My attack was easy to dodge anyway.

That's why I had another trick up my sleeve.

When he moved to dodge, I used the back of my scythe to push him down to the floor.

He fell down with a thud.

Tomura attempted to get up but before he could, I held him down.

How'd I do that? Well, by sitting on him of course. But I also had to hold down his arms since I'm not that heavy.
