Gladion's POV:
Getting lost in a new region you know nothing about is hard enough. Getting lost in a new region with a large city with a castle like building smack dab in the middle of it takes this to a whole new level of confusion and annoyance to the situation. No doubt Lillie wasn't lying about this region being one of if not THE largest region.
"Gladion?"
"Yes Lillie?"
"Do you know where Mother is?" Turning, I notice that indeed, Mother wasn't beside us. Even better, now me and my younger sister are lost without Mother, who probably is also lost. Lillie starts mumbling, a bad habit she picked up over the years from Hobbes probably. Or possibly Wickie.
"Why didn't I read anything on the Galar region? I read a book on every region except this one. Why didn't I?" I sigh, which silences her, but not the ice type in her arms.
"Vul?"
"We cannot change the past. We can figure out what to do now." Lillie nods and we start looking around. The buildings where it seems people live are tall, not nearly as tall as the large castle like building in the middle of the city.
"Lillie! Gladion!" Turning around, I notice Mother and some guy around my age running towards us. I glance at the stranger. He had copper skin, almost gold eyes, dark purple hair, a grey t-shirt, dark blue jacket, black athletic pants and purple sneakers. His grin reminds me of Ash. Next to him is a white, grey, and black fluffy pokemon with horns on its white and brown head. Once they catch up with us. Mother smiles.
"This is Hop, he is going to help us get to Wedgehurst."
"Hey!" Yep, definitely an older version of Ash. Lillie smiles and holds out her hand.
"Hello Hop. I'm Lillie and this is my older brother Gladion. Pleased to make you acquaintance." I expected him to act like Ash and look at her strangely as she uses the words that would often confuse an impulsive kid like him, but instead, he just chuckles and shakes her hand.
"You already know my name, and it's nice to meet you as well. Come on, the train to get to Wedgehurst is bound to be here soon. Let's go!" Then he starts running, and all of us have to run to catch up with him.
Adira's POV:
Time to go back. After four years of nothing. I have to go back to Wedgehurst. I look at my partners. Snow playing with a ball. Cerulean and Silver self training. Twilight laying with her head on my lap. I look at my main partner in a small amount of fear. "We have to go back. Hop and Marie no doubt will find out about it." Twilight looks up at me, her scarred eye seeming to look more menacing than normal.
That means we also have to deal with reporters. Yay... I laugh which makes everyone else stop. It is quite rare that I genuinely laugh. There isn't much to laugh about after all.
Not since He decided to turn me into his plaything.
Against my will.
But I don't care anymore...
I will destroy what He has done to this world...
Even if it means I die in the process...
