Mallow's POV:

Lillie and her family are coming back to Alola today! I contacted Ash, letting him know about it and he's going to secretly come and surprise everyone along with Goh. "Come on guys! Their ship will be back any moment!"

"Tsar Tsareena!"

"Vaporeon!"

"Mallow, slow down!" I laugh, seeing Lana with Sandy, her Vaporeon, trying to catch up with me along with Tsareena, my partner. I stop to let them catch up. "Sorry, I'm just so excited! Plus, this will be the first time they all get to meet Lei!"

"I know Mallow, but still, we won't be able to greet them if we all are out of breath!"

"Sorry."

Lillie's POV:

"I'll meet you soon okay?" I look over with a smile at my brother and Adira saying goodbye. We had decided that it would be best to split up because of Adira's title and the press.

"I'll be fine Gladion. I've dealt with living by myself for years along with running away for my life. I can handle a new region. Besides, Lillie and Lusamine showed me several maps that I already have locked inside my head. I'll be okay. I'll see you soon." She smiles before departing off the ship and quickly making her way into the woods. I smirk at my brother as he watches her figure disappear. "I'll come out first so you can collect yourself okay big brother?" Gladion's face reddens and I giggle. I watch Mother walking Father and his wheelchair out of the ship and hearing excited talking by familiar voices of Professor Kukui, Faba, Wicke, Burnet, Kiawe, Mallow, Lana, Sophocles, all of their pokemon, and a squeal of excitement from someone I don't remember. It sounds like a baby.

"Where are Lillie and Gladion?" I smile, squeeze my brother's hand, and leave the ship with Snowy only to be nearly toppled over by Mallow in a hug making me laugh. "Hello everyone! It's been awhile."

"It's so good to see you Lillie!"

"Snowy evolved, that's incredible! Congratulation!" I laugh at Mallow and Sophocles' reactions. "Thanks everyone!" I look back to see Gladion coming out with Umbreon beside him as he gives a small smile. He's happy. I can tell. Happier than he has been in a long time. "Where's Ash? Have you all heard from him?" Kiawe smiles.

"Why don't you see for yourself?" I give him a confused look before the wind picks up, a shadow looming overhead.

"Hey Lillie! Hey Gladion! Long time no see!" Ash is landing onto the ground, on the back of a Dragonite! I squeal with surprise, backing away quickly, but I'm smiling. I can't help it. Ash has that way with people. He's waving and his cheeky grin never leaves his face as he hops down from the pokemon.

"Great to see ya!" I smile brightly. "It's great to see you too Ash."

"Ash!" We look over to see Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet smiling, but Professor Burnet is holding a giggling baby that looks like a mixture of them. Professor Burnet had a baby.

"Hey Lei. It's good to see ya again." Lei, that's his name. I can barely hold myself together from the measure of adorable there is. "Awww! Who is this?" Professor Burnet smiles.

"This is Lei, when you guys went in search for Mohn, I was pregnant with him. He is a few months old."

"He's adorable!" Professor Kukui laughs.

"Thanks Lillie. It's good to have you guys back." I smile. Ash looks around.

"Hey, where's Gladion?" I look around to find my big brother no where to be found. Mother and Father turn to each other and start laughing. I join in, my smile forming and changing into a smirk. He went to find Adira. All of our friends give us weird looks. Kiawe finally speaks up.

"What is so funny?" Once we all finally calm down, Mother speaks up.

"He's fine, he is just off again, on his journey. Though he did promise to visit more often than he did during those six months he left home, he still is living his own life." Father speaks up.

"He has some unfinished business he needs to take care of." I nod, my face still in a smirk. "He'll be back. But for now, let's go, I want to catch up with you guys!" Everyone smiles, and we head over to the Pokemon School. Oh Gladion, I'm so glad you found happiness. My mission is complete.

Gladion's POV:

I can't believe I got away. Running through the forest, I find Adira sitting with Twilight, smiling at relaxing while the warm breeze blows and creates a soft sound as the trees move within it. I smile, and approach her.

"I'm surprised you escaped so quickly." I laugh. "I promised I would meet you here didn't I?" She turns, a smile on her face. Not a fake, but a real, genuine one.

"Are you sure you had the time you want?"

"Knowing them, they will be at the catching up for at least two days, so, we have time." Adira laughs.

"Liepard!" Adira turns to Twilight and smiles.

"Yes Twilight, we are home." My heart warms at that and I wrap my arms around her. "Are you?"

"Yes, I've never been more certain of something in my entire life."

"Good. Now that we're home, what do you want to do?"

"Live my life, and savor the time I have with you. If that's alright?"

"I think that can be arranged." I kiss the top of her head.

"Good. Hey Gladion?" She turns to me, the sunlight making her face nearly glow in the forest. Her blue eyes popping in all the green vegetation around us. "Yes?"

"Thank you. For doing everything you have done for me. If it wasn't for us meeting each other, I might be still running away from Giovanni."

"No, thank you, for bringing my family together." Adira chuckles.

"We are really sappy aren't we?" I laugh. "Yes, I guess we are. But I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Good, because neither would I."

"I do have something to confess."

"What is it?"

"I think I love you, I'm waiting for the right moment to tell you though." I smirk, a wave of recognition smacking into me at her words from the hospital.

"You do?"

"Yes I-" I kiss her, stopping her words. For a moment, she just stands there, but then she kisses me back, and I feel my heart warming up. Once I pull away, I notice her blush.

"Well. That's a nice way of shutting a girl up." I laugh. "I love you too."

Everything that usually drains my happiness is gone. Father is alive and home, Lillie is free from her traumatizing memories, Ultra Beasts are all inside their own world, and the world is at peace. I smile down at this wonderful person who has allowed joy to come to me so freely and kiss her forehead.

"We are free Adira. We are free."
