Great. Just great. First, I end up being chased quite literally by a pissed off Steelix that I accidentally woke up, then I end up almost bumping into Marie, and now, now I am alone, free from pondering eyes of my family, main rival, and lost allies.

...Did I mention that I am in the middle of some dark and foggy woods?

Probably not.

However, thanks to becoming the champion of this region at eleven, and from running for my life with no permanent home for the past four years, I know my way around Galar. Even the darkest woods are familiar these days. Nothing is new or scary to me. Scary is being placed in a cell, chained up at seven years old, being tested and tortured crudely while your own father, whose job supposedly is to protect and love you throughout your entire life, is laughing. Scary is knowing that every moment you are with them, your family and friends are in danger because of you. Scary is having to lose everyone and everything to protect without them knowing your efforts. Without anyone knowing your efforts for that matter.

Now, finally making it to the ruins of the Protectors of Weapons, I smile, seeing the one pokemon who used to be my partner.

"ROOOH!" Hello Mistress...

"Hello Zacian. It's good to see you again."
