Chapter 3: Days in the Snowy village

Y/N'S POV

I open my eyes... to see myself in a dark place. I can see my body but I can't see anything, it's too dark. I must in a dream. but it wasn't long until blue Flames burst into life in front of me.

It took on a bipedal form as I see 4 red eyes staring at me....

To say this was weird was an understatement.... for the almost past 4 years... I've never had a dream nor a nightmare before... but now I'm having it now....

Before I could say anything.... the blue figure disappeared as I begin to wake up.

I open my eyes expecting myself to see leaves but I didn't expect to see a wooden ceiling. I groggily get up as I hold my head for a minor headache.

Y/n: What happened? I asked no one in particular as I look around the place, it appears I'm in some sort of wood cabin. And seeing the snow outside through the window I'm still in the village where I blackout. I realized that this was the place I stayed on before I started the job.

Dammit, my head hurts.... and my body is also a bit sore.

Well it's to be expected when using Marbas. I look to the side to see my weapons there, all of them nearly place in a table though, Marbas was set to the side, hang on.

How did they get it there? Marbas weighs a ton and it's about on the weight of 41kg. It's a miracle that my body is used to that kind to weight.

And also no doubt that the table could not take Marbas' weight, heck I'm more surprised that it could take my other weapons weight.

My clothes were also there nearly folded but they look clean? Too clean... The villagers must have washed it, but the question is, how is it dry? It doesn't smell like smoke. How long was I out?

I let out another groan as I look at myself. I was wearing different clothes instead of my usual ones. It was a long sleeve shirt and baggy pants. It was soft and comfy too. I look at my left arm to see it's wrapped in bandages but it's new.

The people here must have change it not it long ago. I took off the shirt as I look at my left as I begin to take off the bandages for my arm feels fine now.

My regeneration must have done it's job already and I was right my arm feels good as new.

I quickly get off bed as I took my clothes and quick lunch wore them. Then I look to my weapons deciding if I should take them all and leave this place to continue my travels but it kinda would be rude leaving without a word.

Sighing, I decided to leave them there and only took Misera with me, My dark blue sword as it was strapped on my back.

I then went out only to feel the cold hitting me but it never bothers me anyway since my body was used to weathers like this. I looked around the place to see some of the villagers doing work, though I did notice how run down their houses looks. It seems they were poor and in this weather condition, it's even worse.

It's a good thing I gave them money.

I walked around the place for awhile but I did notice the looks I was receiving, they weren't filled with negativity btu more like the opposite as they look grateful.Some of them even came to thanked me for the money I gave them which I replied "It was nothing" to them.

I continue to walk around the village trying to find the Village chief until I found him talking with some of the villagers. I walked over to him before he begins to notice my presence as he immediately walk over to me.
