Chapter 8: Day off/Meeting someone

Y/N'S POV

Another 6 months have passed since that whole ordeal with those Assassins, but I got to admit. They look pretty tough and skilled,  especially the one wearing the Armor.

Speaking of that armor, I managed to find out that it was the Teigu Demon Armor: Incursio.

It's a short sword that turns into a full-body armor when activated. Aside from the armor, it also has the ability to turn invisible. And comes with an additional spear. It was made from a Danger Beast Tyrant. A dragon.

That's all I learned about it. It's a powerful Teigu, depending on it's wielder and that person, he uses it very well.

I was around town, doing my usual recon but on the busy streets fo marketplace, but today is a day off for today is something in any of my life I wouldn't dare to forget.

So here I am in front of a bookstore called Booknight.

Though truthfully to say, I have my suspicions to this store to be a Night Raid hideout. But it's only a suspicion.

I went inside as the bell notified my entrance but I was only to be greeted with no one there but I heard someone at the counter.

???: Just a a sec!!

It was a male voice and by the looks of it, he was looking through some stuff underneath the counter.I look through the bookshelves, searching something interesting to read.

???: Yes may I help you my good sir?

I look to see a green hair boy with long bangs covering his left eye wearing a a black apron and was also a strange looking gloves. Define strange, the gloves design was a bit off but meh.

Y/n: Oh don't worry, I'm here to check out some books before I decide to buy one.

I explained as he nodded though he looks at me suspiciously as this made me confused.

Y/n: Is there a problem?

I asked, tilting my head to show my confusion.

???: Huh?... O-Oh yeah sorry about that, I was kinda a bit bothered with you wearing your hood, not to criticize but we have a store policy of wearing hats, hoods, mask etc.

Y/n: Oh, my apologies.

I look around the store seeing no one was here but the two of us, so it's safe.

I then slowly removed grab of my hood before removing it letting  my hair free all the way down to my knees as I revealed my face.

THIRD POV

As Y/n removed his hood and had his hair fall all the way down to his knees. The green haired store clerk look at him in complete shock gawking as his eyes look like they would bulge out.

Y/n notices this as he sighs.

Y/n: (Can't blame him since this is always the reaction I get when people see my face.)

Y/n: So sorry about that, I had to wear a hood to prevent myself from attracting trouble, there's a lot of assholes in this city and I don't want then causing me trouble for something so trivial, if you know what I mean.

???: Y-Yeah totally, I understand.

The Store clerk nervously chuckled.

Then when Y/n turned around looking for some books to read, The Green haired boy immediately slumps down.
