17. Isne toh aate hi hug diya

It's crazy how fast time flies and how things progress. 

They didn't even realize when one month passed since they got into a relationship. Sidharth and Shehnaaz got much closer to each other. Their understanding level increased thousand times. Whenever any one of them would feel low, the other one always supported the other. They were each other's biggest support. Sidharth met Shehnaaz's parents few times and they also liked him a lot. They spent time with each other in school and then in V&J. Tanishq and Harpreet are also happy with each other.

Whole month, Ronnie and his group were trying to instigate Sidharth. But they couldn't do anything because Shehnaaz always stood like his human shield. One thing that people feared about her was her 'Sherawali Mata' mode. Even if a word against Sidharth escaped anybody's mouth, they had to face the worst of her anger. Once she heard Ronnie saying, "Yeh Sidharth ko toh dekh ke mukka maarne ka mann karta hai."

And that was it. She immediately went up to him and said in her loudest voice, "Abe khottey, sirf bhaukta hi rahega ya kuch karega bhi. Itni himmat hai na toh kar ke dikha. Usse pehle toh maine tera muh tod dena hai. Aur agar tune mujhe kuch kiya toh Sidharth ne tera muh tod dena hai. Toh har case me tera muh tootna pakka hai samjha." Harpreet had to literally drag her away. This was one of the reasons why Sidharth always felt proud of his choice. He never regretted loving her. 

Sidharth was no less in this case. He once overheard few boys talking about her. "Oye mujhe Shehnaaz ko propose karna hai, tujhe pata hai use kya pasand hai?" A boy asked his friend. At the same time, Sidharth was passing by and to their bad luck, he heard it.

He kept a hand at that guy's shoulder and said, "Sidharth. Use Sidharth pasand hai."

"Ma..Matlab?" He asked.

"Sun Harsh, mein na bahut shant aadmi hu, isliye pyaar se samjhata hu. Jisko tu propose karne ki soch raha hai na, woh teri aukaat ke bahar hai. Ab tu puchega mein aise kaise bol sakta hu? Dost hu mein uska. Aur kal hi usne mere samne tujhe chomu bola hai. Toh tu samajh jaa warna.." Sidharth cracked his knuckes and fisted his hand.

"Nahi bhai, mein toh wo apni junior Shehnaaz ki baat kar raha tha. Apni class wali toh sachme meri aukaat se bahar hai. Tu gussa mat ho. Mein toh Shehnaaz ko didi maanta hu." He said and literally ran from there.

Shehnaaz entered the school with Harpreet. They were heading towards their class when a boy informed them that principal sir called her in his office. Harpreet went to class while Shehnaaz headed towards principal office.

"May I come in sir?" Shehnaaz knocked and asked.

"Yes, come in."

She entered and noticed a boy of her age sitting there with his parents. By their way of speaking, it was obvious that they were outsiders.

"Sir, did you call me?" She asked the principal.

"Yes. Shehnaaz, meet Rishabh Malhotra. He will be joining your class from today. Since, he is a month late, I want you to help him in covering the syllabus. Will you do it?"

Shehnaaz was in no mood to do it, but she couldn't deny. She had a good reputation in front of principal and she couldn't afford to lose it. She agreed half-heartedly. Principal asked Rishabh to leave as he wanted to talk to Shehnaaz in solitude. After they left, he turned to Shehnaaz.

"Listen Shehnaaz. He is not an ordinary student. He is the first NRI student of our school. You are the most responsible one in the class that's why I have chosen you. I hope you won't disappoint me."
