My Beginning, End & Ever After

6. Sir ko tum apni beti ke liye pasand aa gaye

This Monday was just like any other day for Sidharth and Shehnaaz, because they were unaware that it was going to start a new chapter in their life. The most beautiful chapter. They were going to witness the feelings which were foreign to them. A roller coaster in true sense.

Sidharth woke up at 5AM like his everyday routine. He had to leave for Tanishq's house at 8. They both decided to go to school together, on Sidharth's bike. He went for a run, had his home workout session, and then got ready wearing the school uniform. At the breakfast table, he saw his parents were waiting for him. He went towards them and not much to his surprise, they bombarded him with questions about yesterday's experience. Not wanting to discuss much, he said, "It was good", and left for school.

Meanwhile, Shehnaaz didn't wake up herself. Just like every other day, her mother woke her up. Shehnaaz pretended to get up but as soon as her mother left, she slept again. Her mother knew that this would happen, that's why she entered her room but this time with a broom in her hand. "Sana, beta aankhen toh khol."

Shehnaaz opened her eyes and looked at her mom and the scene scared her to no end. Her mother was giving her the typical mom glare. She got up and ran to take a bath within seconds. 'Kitni bhi badi ho jaye ye ladki harkatein same hi rahengi iski, her mom said to herself.

After having breakfast, Shehnaaz also left for school. She met Harpreet on the way. They both went to school on Shehnaaz's scooty. They were very excited to attend their first class of PCM stream. She parked the scooty in the parking lot. They entered the gate and saw Tanishq standing near the office. They went to him. Harpreet hugged him and he gave a kiss on her cheek.

"O laila majnu, band karo ye sab. Ye bata Tanishq, aaj itna jaldi kaise aa gaya tu." Shehnaaz folder her hands around her chest and sighed.

But before he could reply, Sidharth tapped his shoulder and said, "Ho gaya kaam. Chal ab."

"TUM!!" Harpreet screamed looking at Sidharth.

"TUM!!" Sidharth yelled looking at Harpreet.

"TUM!!" Shehnaaz entered the conversation and looked at Sidharth.

"TUM BHI!!" Sidharth turned to her and shrieked. All the nearby students freaked out hearing to the three yelling loudly.

"Ye konsa naya game aaya hai market me. TUM TUM TUM. Achha hai, apne ko bhi karna hai." Tansihq grinned earning glares from the 3 of them. He just put a finger on his lips and shut his mouth.

"Hold on. Ek ek karke baat karte hai." Sidharth said.

"TU YAHA KAISE? WOH BHI SCHOOL UNIFORM ME?!" Harpreet said in the same tone as before.

"Aaram se baat kar. Mein Tanishq nahi hu jo mujhse aise baat kar rahi hai. Waise bhi ye tumhara school nahi hai jo aane se pehle teri permission lu." Sidharth retorded. (Oh my god Sidharth is so rude, ladkiyon se baat karne ki tamiz nahi hai.- said Gauhar Khan Lmao)

"Bachpan se yaha pe padhti hu. Izzat se baat kar, Mr.Scowl!" Harpreet said.

Sidharth turned to Tanishq and said, "Tanishq, kal tujhe chhod diya tha aaj nahi chhodunga. Phir wahi kar rahi hai teri 'girlfriend'. Iska maansik santulan sahi nahi hai kya."

Tanishq gave a pleading look to Harpreet and in response, she turned her head away. Then came the most awaited moment. Sidharth looked at Shehnaaz and said in a low tone, "Shehnaaz, tum yaha kaise?" Harpreet looked at him in surprise, mujhse toh aise baat karta hai jaise maine iska purse maar liya ho aur Shehnaaz se toh dekho kitna pyaar se baat kar raha hai, she thought.

"Mein toh yahi pe padhti hu. Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?" Shehnaaz shrugged.

"Aaj hi join kiya hai maine. 11th PCM." Sidharth explained.
