𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 [𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀]

𝟬𝟳.

Mercedes arrived at the hospital, out of breath, carrying a unconscious Quinn in her arms.

Both girls were soaking wet.

Quinn had hypothermia and was about to have her baby.

She was freezing, dripping wet, and slowly turning blue.

Mercedes watched Quinn get wheeled down the hallway in a stretcher, screaming and crying hysterically.

Mercedes tried to run after her but the doctors held her back.

"Ma'am, you have to stay--"

"NO!" Mercedes yelled.

"I want to see if she's okay!" she demanded.

"She will be fine," the doctors assured her.

Mercedes slumped into a seat in the waiting room and listened to the screams of her girlfriend.

Suddenly, there was the sound of a baby wailing loudly.

The doctors and nurses rushed to Quinn's operating room.

Again, Mercedes was held back and forced to stay and wait.

She cried, sitting down in her chair.

She wanted to see her girlfriend and her new baby.
