Mercedes fished her phone out of the sink.

One look at it told her was dead and beyond repair.

She slammed her head on the counter.

The doorbell rang.

Tia and Tamera paid no attention to it and continued fighting over their toys.

Mercedes groaned, assuming it was Santana or Kurt coming to babysit.

She stomped over to the door and threw it wide open.

There was Quinn.

"Get out," Mercedes said, slamming the door in her face.

Quinn shoved the door open.

"Mama, who is it?" she heard Tia call.

"No one."

"No, it's someone!" Tia yelled.

"No one important," Mercedes snapped, glaring at Quinn.

Quinn hung her jacket up.

"You don't live here anymore, Quinn," Mercedes said harshly.

"I know, I-I just thought that you might..."

"Want you back?" Mercedes said, laughing bitterly.

"You lost all chance of that ever happening when you decided to cheat on me."

She glared at the smaller blonde girl.

"So unless you have something important to say, leave. Now."

Quinn broke down into sobs, sitting on the couch.

"Those fake white-girl tears aren't going to work on me. It may have worked on every other person you cheated on, but not me," Mercedes said.

She was tired of Quinn's drama.

"Why are you being so mean to me? You don't even know why I'm here and you're already jumping to conclusions," Quinn accused.

"Oh, believe me, I know exactly why you're here, Lucy Quinn Fabray."

Quinn winced at the sound of her old name.

"You're here because Rachel dumped your sorry butt, probably for cheating on her, and now you're crawling back desperately to your exes, playing the victim. Well, you can leave. Now."

The twin girls came running in.

"Who is this, mama?" Tamera asked Mercedes.

"This is your mother, Quinn Fabray, and she was just about to leave. Right, Quinn?"

"But I don't want her to leave!"

"Too bad. She's dead to us."

Quinn gave her a last bitter look as she slunk out the door.
