The scent of freshly brewed espresso wafted it's way through the air as the door chimed open signalling a customer's arrival. The clacking of a woman's heels overpowered the quiet chatter which the coffee shop emitted. The woman looked around as though she were a predator seeking its prey, her cerulean eyes shifting towards the dark haired girl which stood behind the counter of the homely cafe. She was about the woman's age and had a name tag which had "Igarashi" imprinted on it. The woman strode towards the counter, the employee finally taking notice of the customer's presence.

"H-hello and welcome! What would you like?" The girl before her seemed flustered, red seeping onto her pale skin. The woman smiled, chuckling slightly at the girl's flustered state. The red on the girl's face only deepened, her dark violet eyes averting it's gaze from the woman.

"One cup of black coffee," the woman's gaze never faltered from the girl. She leaned over the counter, staring intently at the barista before her. "No cream please." The sound of the woman's sharp voice was enough to send shivers down the dark haired girl's spine. The girl's orbs looked up briefly to be met with the woman's piercing ones. She quickly looked away, only nodding slightly before hurriedly attending to the woman's order. The woman smirked, making her way towards the waiting area. As she waited for her coffee, the woman's eyes never left the barista's figure. She watched from afar as the girl made the beverage. It wasn't a special job however the girl made it seem like it was the most important thing in the world. Once the woman received the hot substance, she seemed to notice that this was the same for anything else she did. She slowly sipped her coffee as she watched the dark haired girl wipe the tables with such precision. How fascinating.
