Sayaka couldn't stop thinking about the woman from yesterday. Her cerulean eyes seemed to continuously invade her thoughts, distracting her from the homework that was due a week in advance. Sayaka had always been serious and rarely got distracted when completing a task, much less by another individual. The woman from yesterday however, was different. Sayaka shook her head, attempting to avert her thoughts from the women. She closed her laptop and sighed, finally giving up on both forgetting the woman and completing her homework. She could feel her face flare up as she thought of the woman's voice, smile, the way her hair swayed back and forth when she walked- Stop it. Sayaka placed her hands against her face and groaned slightly at the reoccurring thoughts of the woman. She was helpless, no doubt. She had seen this women once and it was like she was falling into a dark abyss of unusual and unfamiliar feelings. Sayaka slowly got up to check the time only to realise that she was almost late for work. She quickly jolted up, feeling slightly lightheaded due to the sudden change of position. She managed to toss her uniform on, knowing that she wouldn't have enough time to change in the locker rooms at her work, and bolted towards the door, only sparing a few seconds to slip on her shoes.
When Sayaka made her way behind the counter, she noticed the familiar ash coloured hair of a woman sitting by a table, those piercing eyes focused on the laptop before her. It was suddenly brought to the woman's attention that the same dark haired barista from yesterday was staring at her. The woman smiled and nodded towards the girl before focusing her attention back to the laptop in front of her. The woman's fingertips glided elegantly as she types the last paragraph of her essay. The woman goes to review her writing, only glancing briefly to be met with the familiar barista's dark violet eyes. A sly smile makes its way onto the woman's features as the dark haired girl quickly looks away, a red hue creeping onto her cheeks just as it did the day before. The events of yesterday seemed to repeating itself as the clacking sound of the woman's heels resounded throughout the quiet cafe.
"May I have one cup of black coffee?" The woman's voice rung through Sayaka's head like a broken record. Her voice was indescribable and allured the dark haired female. It had seemed cold but at the same time welcoming. It was almost eerie in that sense. Sayaka tightly closed her eyes briefly, shaking her thoughts away before nodding and getting to work.
"Say I didn't quite catch you're name... Igarashi is it?" The dark haired girl stopped in her tracks slightly frightened by the fact that the godde- woman before her knew her name. It was only until she realised she had a name tag where she was able to relax.
"A-ah yes. Igarashi Sayaka." (A/N I'm pretty sure her last name is Igarashi and in Japan they put they're last name first. Please correct me if I'm wrong lol) The barista was still focused on the woman's coffee, trying her best not to look up and mess up the order. The woman before her hummed slightly in response. Once her coffee was ready, she grabbed the disposable cup, slipping Sayaka a piece of paper before walking out of the shop. As the coffee shop's door chimed, Sayaka looked down at the folded paper in her hand.Momobami Kirari
