Sayaka lays on her bed, silently freaking out over the number the woman- Momobami gave her. She looked back down towards the piece of paper she had given her. The poor girl had been reading the note for the past hour, trying to figure out how she would text her. Of course she had planned- as she did with everything- however, nothing came into mind. It was like she was dipping her toes in new waters. This unfamiliar feeling of being unprepared scared her. Sayaka groaned in frustration, giving on something for the second time this week. Her heart sped up reading the woman's name once more.
"Kirari" The way the woman's name rolled off of the tip of her tongue brought her such delight. She wanted to say it again and again. She needed to. Sayaka suddenly realised what she had thought and smacked both of her cheeks at once. Stop it! She winced in pain as red marks began to imprint itself onto the areas where her hands once were. Her palms had also turned red and begun to sting. Sayaka heavily sighed and made her way over to her bathroom. The light, rhythmic tapping sound of water echoed throughout the bathroom as she begun to strip herself of her clothes. Fog spread across the glass walls of Sayaka's shower, her thoughts drifting towards the girl that her mind couldn't seem to leave alone.* * *
The sun shone brightly through the normally cold neighbourhood. A small plop could be heard every now and then as the remaining droplets of rain dropped onto the ground below it. Sayaka heaved a groggy sigh, slowly getting up from the position she was once sleeping in. Her joints quietly popped and cracked as she slithered out of the comfort of her bed. Today was one of the rare days in which the girl had neither classes nor work. She yawned, making her way towards her kitchen to prepare what would be her 'breakfast'. Sayaka had stayed up all night, using her day off as an opportunity to pull an all nighter to complete all of the homework that needed to. She glanced towards the clock as she prepared herself a quick breakfast- a simple eggs and bacon. As she prepared her self a plate, her eyes shifted towards her window. The sun was still shining and from the looks of it, it was no longer wet as it had been the day prior. She swallowed the remaining pieces of bacon as she made her way towards her sink, washing her dishes. Soon enough she had already finished her morning chores and had finished changing, slipping on her shoes before making her way towards the door.
The cherry blossom branches swayed in sync to the soft and careful breeze as Sayaka made her way towards a park bench which situated itself amongst a pathway of sorts. She sat down, opening her book to the page which had been marked with a sticky note as she began her usual session of reading. Sayaka had decided that it was a good enough day to be able to read outside. As she settled herself onto the bench, a figure sat down beside her. Sayaka paid no mind to the presence next to her and continued to read, heavily invested into the novel before her. As she did so, the familiar alluring voice which seemed to always give her goosebumps spoke up, interrupting her session.
