SAYAKA'S POV
She couldn't. She just couldn't. In front of Sayaka's apartment building was a slick, black limousine, awaiting her arrival. She had been sure it hadn't been for any of her neighbours since like her, they were broke college students just trying to get by in life. Sayaka was almost sure it had been the ash haired woman who had stolen her heart- No, stop it. It had been quite late actually. Sayaka had finished her shift at work just a few hours before. She had finished early, planning to use the spare time as a form of 'preparing herself'. In reality she had been trying - and failing miserably - at calming herself down before her 'date'. That's what it was right? Sayaka had been hoping it wouldn't be too formal, however she was also hoping it wasn't too casual. She had opted for something that was in between the two options. As she walked towards the far too fancy car, a man in a well-tailored suit walked out and promptly opened the door for her. Sayaka managed to choke out a thank you before entering the vehicle. Kirari smiled slightly and nodded at the dark violet-headed girl before telling the chauffeur the location at which they would be dropped off. Sayaka only gulped and sat stiffly in the soft velvet of the seat.
The girls had finally arrived at their destination. It had seemed to be at an abandoned looking carnival as there had been nobody there. The lights in the carnival however, had been switched as it had displayed an array of beautiful colours which had contrasted well with each other. Kirari swiftly takes Sayaka's wrist, pulling her over to the teacups of the amusement park. Sayaka only becomes more tense at the sudden contact.
"Here, sit in the purple one, I'll join you in a moment." Sayaka only does as she's told. As she waits patiently, Kirari fiddles with the control panel of the machine. Sayaka begins to object against this however, her throat doesn't allow her. The machine begins moving and Sayaka is left sitting in the teacup to wonder what Kirari will do. Surely she wouldn't just stand there and watch me. As Sayaka ponders the purpose of only her being in the teacup, Kirari jumps into the aforementioned amusement ride as the machine begins to speed up. Sayaka's eyes widen as Kirari starts to laugh in joy.
"Why did you do that?! You could've been hurt!" Still laughing, Kirari turns towards the concerned girl before her.
"If I did get hurt, I suppose I'd had it coming." Sayaka sits there still in shock of all that has happened. As the machine begins to slow, Kirari hurriedly jumps off, grabbing Sayaka along with her. Kirari gasps in excitement as she spots something in the distance. As they run through the amusement park, Sayaka only starts to process what had just happened. Her heart sped up faster however, she couldn't tell whether it was from the adrenaline of her jumping off of the moving teacups, or the fact that they had been running, or just her. The two reached the place that had fascinated Kirari so much as to pull Sayaka so quickly. Sayaka looked up to see a large, rusty looking Ferris Wheel. Perhaps it didn't help that Sayaka had been afraid of heights. Kirari only got more excited as she fiddled with the control panel of this machine. Sayaka's hands started to sweat even more than it did before and they were shaking to no end. The shaking stopped as Kirari placed her hand in her own.
"Please calm yourself." Sayaka's brows were furrowed in anxiety. "I promise I won't let anything happen to you." As they board the slow moving Ferris Wheel, Sayaka's anxiety only got worse. It had been a breezy winter's evening, unlike the bitter cold from the many days previous to it. In the serenade of the black sky, the stars were like a choir. As the two girls sat at the very peak of the Ferris Wheel, a faint creaking sound could be heard from the rusty joints of the Ferris Wheel. Sayaka's breathing was heavy and laboured and her eyes were tightly shut. She had no clue how the cerulean orbed mistress before her had convinced her into being in such a situation. It was as if Sayaka had been sailor, entranced by the beauty of a siren. Sayaka stopped for a moment as she felt soft, warm hands embrace her own. She glanced towards the woman in question only to see her with her eyes closed, her soft, snow-like hair swaying to the rhythm of the breeze. Her lips were inviting as they reflected the moon's light.
"I told you to calm yourself did I not?" The goddess- I mean the woman spoke. Sayaka only kept quiet as she was afraid of saying more than she anticipated. Her breathing started to slow just looking at her. What once was worry, had turned into a new feeling. Her heart started to swell and her chest had tightened. It was almost routine for her to start burning up around the ash-haired woman. She let herself smile, only just slightly. I could get used to this.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
