Chaeyoung's POV

"Miss Park, you have a board meeting with the Board of Directors of K&P at 2pm" my secretary informed me.

I gave her a bored look.

"Okay, you can go now, thank you Olivia" I told my secretary

"Miss Park?, are you free tonight? I know a great place"

She was blushing, this always happens whenever I hire a new secretary and they always gets fired because of flirting, and guess what I'm about to fire another one.

I took a deep breath
"No, I'm not free tonight, you can go" I coldly said to her before I focused my attention to my paper works

She then left my office, she's lucky that we have a lot of work going on but if not, I'll fire her right away

It's been 5 years since Jennie left and since then I never dated anyone. Sooyoung and I remained friends

I would lie if I would say I don't miss Jennie. I missed her so badly. Going home into our home for the last 5 years and not seeing her there makes me feel empty and lonely.

I am still longing for my wife
Everyday I am still expecting that the woman I love will come home.
I love Jennie and I realized it when she left me. I am too late already
I've hurt her so much

I looked at our picture when we were on vacation. I smiled.
My wife is so beautiful, her gummy smile is the most precious thing in the world, and I love how her eyes disappear because of that smile. I just love her so much.

I'm glad that Jennie's parents were not mad at me at all. I know I don't deserve it because of how I treated their daughter back then.

I hope she's with here with me today with our baby. But that's not gonna happen anymore.

I took out our wedding ring from its box. I remember how she fought for it. She really love me yet I destroyed her.

"Hey Chae" Lisa said, not minding to knock on the door, and her wife Jisoo, as well.

They're here because they were a Board of Directors of the K&P. And since then we became friends.

They lost contact on Jennie as well. They do not know where Jennie is, or even if she's okay.

"What you doing?" Lisa asked taking a sip on my drink, I rolled my ey on her.

"As usual" I said plainly

"Oh I see, you're thinking about my bestfriend again" Jisoo said, yes I am.
I miss Jennie so damn much, all I can do is a nod.

"It's your fault though" it was

"It's a good thing that Jennie's parents are not mad at you at all, because it'll be hard for K&P if the president ang the Vice president were not in good terms" Lisa said, she has a point on that

"Oh come on, we all know that
Mr. Kim really likes Chae for her daughter, and he want them together again, but the problem is, does Jennie want Chaeyoung back?" I was taken a back

I felt numb by what Jisoo said. What if she doesn't want me back because of Hanbin?

"I dont care, I'll do anything to have her back" I said firmly

After that we headed to the conference room. The board of directors greeted me, for I am the President of this corporation.

"Goodmorning" I greeted them back
"Shall we start?"

"The Vice President is not here yet, we should wait a little longer" I take a look at the sit infront of me, I didn't notice that Jennie's father wasn't here yet
