"Nice to see you!" She gave me a kiss on the cheek, before walking away. I looked around me, walking towards another person I know from the same agency.
"Kendra! Wow, you look beautiful." He complimented me, watching me up and down my outfit. I gleamed, giving him a turn. "Yeah, very nice." He mumbled biting his lip. His eyes glued on my leather short dress, with golden accessories.

I roll my eyes. "It was nice to see you." I waved walking away from him. Trying to find Tayla.
Boys are always the same. Even though Billie is the first one I really have a relationship with, I know how boys can be. I have seen it in real life.
I looked around to see everyone having fun at the party, wearing gold or black. Mostly both, the dress code is gold and black. Tayla's parties are one of the best organizations in the city, she gives it once a while. So when she's giving one, it's important that you don't miss it. A few celebrities are attending as well and there's a little stage in her garden that has live music. Security is everywhere to see, in every corner, between people. Literally everywhere. Not everyone is welcome, only if you got an invitation. This party is too exclusive.
"Kendra?" Someone shouted at me through the loud noise. I turn to see Marvin walking up to me. I smiled, giving him a tight hug. He wrapped his arms around me as well, almost lifting me up. I laugh.
"How are you doing? Long time no see!"
I nod. "I'm fine. What about you?" I ask when we pulled away. He answered with a yes. I looked behind him, seeing unknown people dance.
He chuckles. "Billie isn't here yet. I thought she was going with you? She didn't want me to tell why."
