"Jeez y/n, what happened to you," my friend Heather says.

"Ummmm, nothing unusual. Just the fact that I suck at Herbology." I say, trying to brush off some of the dirt I got on my sweater.

"Maybe you should go back to the dorms and wash up. I don't think Professor McGonagall is going to appreciate having dirt on her desks," Heather says and laughs.

"Yeah, Heather maybe I should." I say.

"Just make sure you get back before the next class!" Heather shouts as I walk aways.

I hurry up to the h/y/i means house you're in common room and put on a new clothes. Maybe I should get a tutor for Herbology because I am so gonna fail that class.

I think about who I should ask as I hurry to Transfiguration. As I'm walking down some stairs, I hear voices around the corner and hurry to find out what's happening.

"What are you gonna do about it Longbottom? Cry in the corner and beg me for your grandma? Pathetic," Malfoy sneers.

I turn the corner and see Malfoy and his gang surrounding Neville. Neville is backing up, obviously trying to escape, but his back reaches the wall.

Malfoy pushes him and Neville's head hits the wall.

"Hey stop that! What gives you the right to think you can treat someone like that?" I yell and walk over.

"Well look how it is. L/n means last name here to save pitiful Longbottom. What's wrong mate? Can't fight your own battles so you have to ask a wretched girl to do it for you?" Malfoy says and looks back at Neville.

"For your information Malfoy, I could beat your ass in a second. Now I suggest you get out of here before I show you EXACTLY what this "wretched" girl can do to a dick like you." I say and cross my arms.

"Fine. I don't want detention anyway." Malfoy says and walks aways with his goons.

I turn to Neville, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, but I wouldn't be if you didn't turn up. Thank you by the way. If you need anything, I owe you one" He says.

"It's all good. Actually, there is one thing I do need," I say.

"What is it? I might not be amazing at a lot, but I can surely help a little," he says.

"Well you're always doing amazing in Herbology and I'm, not, so I was wondering if you could maybe tutor me? I just really don't want to fail."

He smiles, "ABSOLUTELY. Thank god you choose something I actually know how to do," he laughs.

"So tomorrow at our free period? Does that work for you?" I ask.

"Yeah. See you tomorrow," he says and walks away.

Turns out I didn't really have to look that hard for a tutor.
