She keeps herself in the dark

She cuts,

then feels bad.

She disinfects the gashes,

stops the bleeding,

wears only long pants. 

She has a mane of beautiful hair

but is too self-conscious to show it off.

Her girlfriend was her everything,

is her everything, 

but is gone now.

She plays soccer,

watches the best one

with jealousy,

want.

Makes aesthetics in her spare time,

hides in her closet.

And she doesn't see the light that's inside of her,

stays in the dark.

Could be a force to be reckoned with, 

but chooses to stay small instead.

She doesn't see in herself

what I see in her.
