Dream team X reader

Chapter 8

I woke up this morning slowly and stayed wrapped up in my blanket for a minuet before wondering why my alarm didn't go off. It didn't matter that much because all I had planned for today was to stream some bedwars, but as I was trying to reach around my bed for my phone, Sophia burst into my room looking for her black jeans. She needed them for work and was already late. I jumped up and helped her look. We found them pretty quickly, and she threw them on and ran out the door. 

After she left I found my phone and went to the kitchen. Before making myself breakfast I checked my phone. I had the usual notifications, snapchat, twitter all of that but there was one that was odd to me, my older sister. We rarely ever talked because she didn't support my choice to become a streamer, and believed I should go start a family like she did. She had one kid and was pregnant with another. We hadn't talked since our mom died a few years ago so I figured this must be important. All the text said was, "call me." 

I was pretty obviously worried, especially since her husband let for a work trip 2 days ago. I immediately called, and she answered just as quick. I asked whats wrong and I could hear the worry in her voice as she said, "there's something wrong with my pregnancy." I was scared for her and asked what she needs and she said something which immediately took me by surprise. She said, "I need you to come to Florida and help my. I will be in and out of the hospital and I need you to help me with my family." Without questioning I said okay. I looked online and there was one ticket to Florida with a lay over in Texas, so I booked it. It was for tomorrow morning. 

I was filled with nerves and worried for my sister. I decided to take a shower hoping it would calm my nerves. I put my phone down and got in but it didn't help anything, it just made my brain wander, so I got out and but on some sweats and an over sized t-shirt. I decided to tweet and explain to my fans the I would be streaming today, so I pulled out my phone and wrote.

(your username): Hey guys something came up with my family, so I won't be streaming for a few days. I'll talk to you guys when I'm ready, sorry. 

I got a good amount of people asking what's wrong and if I'm okay but I just ignored them, I wasn't ready to talk yet besides I haven't even told Sophia yet why would I tell a bunch of strangers. I got a few texts from old friends asking if I was okay so I talked with them for a bit and it helped but my nerves were still controlling me and I couldn't help it. I did get a few texts from the Dream team though. The first person to text me was George less than a minuet after I tweeted, and I couldn't help but wonder if he had my notifications on, but it didn't really matter.

George

George: hey I saw your tweet, are you ok?

(Y/N): Yeah I'm fine

George: Are you sure, do you need to talk?

(Y/N): not right now I'll be fine

George: okay well I'm always there if you do 

(Y/N): thanks George

George: no problem, and seriously don't be afraid to talk to me

I love how caring he is. I wish that I could walk up to him right now, and he could wrap me up in a big bear hug. I doubt that I would be able to handle that without breaking down right now though. A few minuets later I got a text from Sapnap which is a bit odd because we usually only talk in the groupchat. 

Sapnap

Sapnap: hey dude are you ok

(Y/N): yeah I'm good 

Sapnap: you sure because I'm here for you if you need to talk

(Y/N): I'm sure thanks

Sapnap always put up this big strong persona, but inside he was a very nice person. Now that we've become friends I feel like he's a little brother to me. I definitely want to talk to him later, but I just wasn't ready to right now, I was to overwhelmed. I said no to most of the people that wanted to talk to me but truthfully I really needed somebody to talk to me and help me figure out what I'm feeling. Thankfully Dream can read right through me, so about 5 minuets after I got that text from Sap I got a call from Dream. 

I picked up pretty quickly and he just asked what was going on , and I explained the whole situation and the complications with my sisters pregnancy. He was really understanding and listened to me completely. That one of the things I love about him, he was amazing at listening. I told him that I was going to go to Florida and probably be there for a month or two. For some reason he seemed almost excited about that news even though it was tearing me apart. I was about to break down in tears and he was happy, but before I could even ask why, he said, "well I'm in Florida, so if you're even going to need something, I'll be right around the corner." I forgot that he lived in Florida and honestly knowing that I could meet him made this whole situation ten times better. 

We kept talking for about two hours and he helped me figure everything out and it honestly made me feel so much better. He knew me so well even though we only met a week ago. I feel like I've known him forever and I haven't even seen his face. After a few hours I decided I should probably hang up with Dream and pack up my stuff. Since I was staying in Florida for so long, I would need a lot. It took me about and hour to finally gather everything, and by then I was starving so I decided to warm up so frozen pizza for me and Sophia. 

Sophia got home right as I was taking the pizza out of the oven, and I explained everything to her. We had decided that I could bring all my streaming stuff to Florida so I could mail her money and still help pay the bills, and now that I had gotten more popular Sophia could quit her second job. We both thought this could be good for both of us, so we finished our pizza, watched The Office for a bit and went to bed.
