Chapter 11

I woke up this morning and I was burning up. I had kicked all my blankets off overnight and was overheating. It was going to take a lot of time to get used to this Florida heat. I decided I would go to the store kind of early and beat the crowds. I choose to wear a tennis skirt and a hoodie over a collared shirt with the collar sticking out. It was supposed to rain today, so that's why I choose the hoodie. I borrowed Taylor's car because she would be asleep for another hour or two. I drove to a bigger store that was about half an hour away. There were a few closer but they didn't have everything on my list. 

I got to the store and stepped out of the car. The heat was almost unbearable. I hurried into the air conditioned store and started with my list. First I walked into the canned foods isle to grab some easy meals. Next I walked to get some stuff for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. After that I walked into the chip isle and head somebody say, "(Y/N), hey I wasn't expecting to see you!"

I turned around to see some one I've never seen before, but the voice seemed very familiar. I'm sure that they noticed the confused look on my face because he immediately said, "Oh my go I forgot this is so embarrassing." I still had no idea who he was, but he started to walk closer, and I could more clearly hear is voice. I was still a bit unsure who he was but I had an idea. A few seconds of silence later he said, "bet you weren't expecting to know what I looked like so soon huh?" and that's when everything clicked, "Dream?" I questioned. "You can call me Clay," he said. 

I ran up and jumped into his arms. I rested my head on his shoulder and wrapped my legs around him. We just stood there hugging for a second before I lifted my head up and we made eye contact as he set me down and said, "nice to meet you too." I laughed a little bit before  looking up a noticing how incredibly beautiful he is. He's so tall and has perfectly cut dirty blonde hair with emerald green eyes. I've always imagined what he looked like but seeing him in real life was so surreal. He noticed me staring and asked, "something wrong?" I looked down at my feet and blushed while saying, "of course not." "Okay, well do you want to finish your shopping with me then?" he replied. "Sure," I answered but a second later I added, "Wait but what if someone see's us together!" He laughed at me before it clicked, "oh yeah nobody knows what you look like." "Dummy," he said still giggling a bit before he grabbed my hand and we walked off. 

Butterflies filled my stomach as we walked around holding hands. It was almost like we were a couple. I even completely forgot about George for a second. His hand wrapped around mine so easily, it was like we fit perfect together, and everything felt so natural. We just walked around the store and talked. At one point he asked me about my lunch with Nick and it took everything for me to not mention their collab, but I didn't want it to seem like I was using him for clout. After half an hour we had just finished up our shopping, so he walked me to my car and helped me put away my groceries. Before I got in the car we just stood there staring at each there was an odd tension and he pulled me in and kissed my cheek. Before walking away he told me to text him later, and I agreed as I got into my car. 

The whole way home I contemplated every decision I've ever made. One of the most famous minecraft youtubers is my friend or maybe even more. Why me I'm literally so basic, why would anything this amazing happen to me. Once I got home I brought in all the groceries and made lunch for Sarah. After giving her the sandwich I made, I went up to my room to plug my phone in and text Sophia, but as I opened my phone, I got a text from George. 

George

George: hey, are you doing ok?

(Y/N): Yeah I'm actually doing really good thanks for asking

George: That's great, I just wanted to make sure you're ok, and there was also something else I wanted to talk to you about, can you call me 

I wasn't really sure what George wanted to talk about and to be honest I was a bit concerned because he's never that direct. I put aside my worries and facetimed him he picked up before the first ring and I saw him sitting on his bed and smiling at me. He looked at me weird and I jokingly asked, "What?" He said, "oh nothing I just wanted to see you." I giggled and replied, "you're so weird." 

We talked for a bit before George said, "Okay I actually have something I wanted to talk to you about. Umm so that even though we have never met, I just think you're really cute and we should talk more." I sat there with a dumbfounded look on my face trying to process what just happened. He noticed my weird look and said, "I'll give you a minuet." I just sat there for a second before saying, "Okay, I think you're cute too and I would love to talk more, but I'm not ready for a relationship yet." He completely understood and was happy that I wanted to talk more, but I was tired and needed to go to bed, so I put my phone on my night stand and set my alarm for 5 am. I decided to do an early morning stream tomorrow to explain what's happening.
