I woke up early to the sound of my alarm, and heard the sound of rain against my window. Florida's weather is so weird one day it 100 degrees the next it's poring rain. I turned of my alarm and checked my phone. Where I had a text from Clay waiting for me. I decided to change his name in my phone to Clay because it's weird to keep it as Dream.
Clay
Clay: hey you down for lunch today?
(Y/N): fs I'm gonna stream for and hour or so and then I'll let you know
Clay: cool see you then(;
(Y/N): see you weirdo
I couldn't help but get butterflies when he texted me. I still thought that he might not like me, but I'm not sure why, and I still felt this weird connection to George. I didn't get as many butterflies as when I talked to Clay but there was just something about him that drew me in. With George I always knew where we were at and what our relationship was but with Dream it was a mystery, and they're best friends there's no way they hadn't talked to me. This was all just one big mess that I needed to forget about.
I decided to take a quick shower before my stream, but I didn't have time to dry my hair, so I just let it stay down. My hair always came out slightly wavy when I let it air dry, so I thought it should be fine. Once I finished my shower, I ran downstairs to make some pancakes for Taylor and Sarah and once I was done I went back upstairs to set up my streaming equipment.
I set it all up and sent out a tweet saying I was going to stream soon. I started my stream and was greeted by 4k viewers and throughout my stream reached a max on 20k viewers. This was the most I've ever gotten, so I was quite excited. I started explaining my situation and last minuet flight to Florida. People were very understanding and said they were completely there for me and my sister. After I explained everything, I just talked to my fans for a bit and ended stream. It was a very chill stream because honestly I didn't have to much energy. After I finished up my stream I texted Clay.
Clay
(Y/N): so, what's for lunch
Clay: I was thinking I could make something
(Y/N): ohh what you making?
Clay: It's a surprise(;
(Y/N): haha great when should I head over?
Clay: I'll pick you up in an hour, be ready
He made me so happy and I couldn't peel my smile off my face when he texted me. I decided to pre-make every ones lunches so that it wouldn't be that much trouble for Taylor, and then I went to go get ready. I checked the weather and it was supposed to heat up a lot, so I decided to wear a cute dress. It was a red dress with a cute pattern on it. Something like this:

I don't usually where dresses but I figured that it would be nice because it's so hot. I decided to put on some makeup, not much just some mascara blush and highlight but it's more than I usually wear which is nothing. I threw on some white slip on vans and went downstairs to grab all my stuff. As I was getting everything together I told Taylor where I was going. She didn't mind to much because lunch was already ready and Sarah was taking a nap.
A minuet later I saw Dream pull up into my drive way, so I said bye to Taylor and walked out. As I walked out I looked at Clay while he looked me up and down and did this cute little smile that made my heart melt. As I opened the door and ducked into the car he said, "Wow, got all dressed up for me?" I immediately replied with a, "shut up dork." He laughed it off as I got my seat-belt on.
We talked a bit as we headed to his house. He lived only 10 minuets away in one of the richer neighborhoods. I was in utter shock as I walked into his giant house. I mean I know he has 10 millions subs and makes a ton of money but I never envisioned his house to be this nice, especially since he lives alone. He saw my shocked face and chuckled a bit before asking, "you like it?" I responded pretty quickly with a, "umm yeah this is amazing." He laughed a bit before motioning me to sit at the counter and saying, "I'll give you a tour later." He went to the kitchen and threw an apron on and started cooking something I couldn't quite see yet though.
We talked for a bit more before he told me to sit at the table and close my eyes. I did as he told me to and made my way over there. Before shutting my eyes I could see how nicely the table was set up. Once I sat down and closed my eyes, I heard Clay walk over and set a plate in front of me and at the seat in front of me. He sat down and told me, "Okay, open your eyes." As I opened my eyes, I saw a delicious looking pasta with grilled chicken topped with a pile of Parmesan Cheese. Sitting in the middle of the table was a bowl of Cesar Salad.
I was absolutely dumb founded, everything smelled and looked so good. "You like it?" he asked. I nodded as I looked up at him. He had this adorable little smile displayed on his face. He continued on saying, "I wanted to invite you over for dinner but George wanted to stream tonight, so I couldn't." I answered with an, "This is amazing, thank you so much." He laughed again and said, "no problem, it was worth it for you." I looked up from the food again and we made this unforgettable eye contact that made my heart stop and my cheeks blush. I cut into the silence by saying, "Should we dig in?" He nodded and we began eating.
After about 5 minutes of talking Clay mention our collab, and I finally built up the courage to say, "Oh by the way I had lunch with Sap the other day and he mentioned so collab with you 3 it seemed pretty cool." As I said that, his face lit up, it was almost like he was waiting to say something. I loved seeing that excitement in his emerald green eyes, it was like looking into a forest. After staring into his eyes for a second he said, " Yeah actually I was going to ask you if you knew about that because I wanted to invite you." We talked about it for a while and decided it would be fun if I came because I could help Dream show the other two around.
We talked for hours after that, and we had finished all of the food by the time I heard Clay say, "Oh shit, I'm gonna be late to stream, come with me." He grabbed my hands and we rushed up the stairs to his office. He immediately turned on all of his monitors and hopped on a call with George. It was weird seeing Dream call and talk to someone with his camera on. George answered the call right away immediately asking, "what the hell took you so long? I need to start streaming like now." Dream replied in a rush by saying, "Sorry, sorry I was hanging out with (Y/N)." After he said that I popped my head into frame to say hi. George's mood lightened immediately which Clay noticed but I think pretended not to. I asked if I should call an Uber or something and Clay said, "No, you can just chill on my bed while I stream and I'll take you home after."
