Warmth ( Story Title ) 

Y/N POV 

I'm watching S/N play outside with my husband. I'm so happy to married such a man. I held up my left hand, looking at the dazzling diamonds on the ring band. I can feel a smile form on my face. But I stopped as the giggles of S/N running to me. He lunges at me as we embrace for a hug.

Matthew sits next to me on the back porch as we embrace for a kiss. 

S/N then heads back to the snow in front of us. Matthew and I watched him skip and laugh. I lean my head against his. "I love you" He said softly, his violet eyes looking at me. My E/C then moved so I could look at him. "I love you" I replied back. He hums with happiness as the doggie door opens as Mr. Kumajiro was running on all fours to play with S/N . I couldn't be any happier. Matthew then gets up and heads inside. My eyes kept watching S/N, his arms reaching out to pet Kumajiro, the polar bears licks her cheek as they lay down to may snow angels. 

Then a snowflake falls onto the top of my nose. "Oh, it's snowing! S/N! Come back inside!" I shouted, standing up with my hands on each side of my face. S/N turns to me as he tells Kumajiro to follow him. The both of them then started racing to get inside the house. But S/N couldn't fit into the doggie dog and I had to help fish him out. 

After that the smell of fresh maple syrup and pancakes filled the living room and kitchen. 

Matthew turns to us, holding a plate with stacks of pancakes for us. S/N sits in his seat as he bags on the table with his fists. He looks like his father but has my personality. S/N was presented with a plate of pancakes with whipped cream, topped with butter and blueberries. He started gobbling the meal down using his fork. "Easy there S/N you'll choke if you eat fast, pancakes brings happiness and love because you eat them with your family" Matthew claims, placing a plate on the floor for Kumajiro. Wasting not time to eat with his paws. 

I started eating my two pancakes as I poured syrup. Matthew had three stacked on his plate. 

I'm not sure how he has room for all of those, I can only handle two. ( same ) As we started eating I felt my hand being held from under the table. My left hand was being held my Matthew. 

"How come I can't go outside?" S/N asks pointing to the sliding door. Snowflakes were raining down, causing the snow to pile high. "Because if you stay out for to long you'll get sick" I explained, glaring at Matthew. He looks at me confused. "What? Something wrong maple leaf?" I sighed and looked at him again, "Oh! When you're mother and I met we stayed outside playing for too long and she got sick" He chuckles nervously.

S/N nods, "Okay papa, I won't go outside" he said finishing his pancakes. Matthew and I sigh. 

"Maybe tomorrow when it's clear again" I state, S/N smiles, his cheeks filled with pancake. "Don't do that! Finish your food S/N" I stated. "May I have more?" Kumajiro asks, placing the plate on the wooden table. I nodded, taking the plate to the kitchen. I use tongs to stack two pancakes but stop suddenly as arms wrapped my waist. "Matthew" I Said softly, his head on top of mine. "I love you maple leaf" He whispers, I smiled, not looking up to him. "I love you too". 

"Ew! Mama and Papa are kissing! Ew!" S/N whined, covering his e/c eyes. We both sigh as he kisses my cheek and heads back to the table. I then placed the plate back down, Kumajiro starts eating it. S/N was done as Matthew starts cleaning him up a bit. I pick up Kumajiro as Matthew picks up S/N and grabbing a warm fur blanket. He then places S/N on the couch, Matthew then throws the blanket up as we all bundle up for a cold but warm winter night.

When we woke up the next day, we were all warm.
