I don't know why buy Luke and Matt also tagged along. It must be Ashely who convinced him.
I parked my car in the mall's basement and Cami and I got out. Soon enough Ashely and Luke's car pulled in as well. We made our way to the stores above.
Honestly, it feel so good being back out with my friends. Luke hasn't spoken to me yet but I believe he is fine with me being around.
"How's this?" I said holding a plain white summer romper. I didn't had any of those and it looked pretty comfortable.
"Oh it's nice. Try something with a print on it." Ashely shuffled through the section I picked it from and pulled out a light pink floral romper. She's the fashion Diva. Her mother's a great fashion designer so yeah, it's suits her. She sometimes did modelling for her mother's company so she's kinda famous on Instagram.
"Oh even better." I said putting it in my shopping bag.
"Try it on." Matt said.
"I'm really tired, not now and besides it's my size so it'll fit me." I replied. We looked for some more things and since the boys were complaining, we took them to the men's section as well. I saw a cool blue and grey denim hoodie jacket. It would look great on Zach. I looked for his size and then we payed for our stuff.
"So what's next? Movie?" Stacy said.
"Yeah sure which one?" Cami added. I looked at my phone and it was 5:30. My dad would come home anytime and I have to reach there fast.
"Guys I can't stay longer. I have to go, I have this robotics thing coming." I said bye to all running to the elevator. I was walking through the empty parking lot and I could hear my clicking of heels creating an echo.
Suddenly I heard another pair footsteps. I froze in my track and turned around. There was no one. Silence. I started walking to my car and clicked it open with the button.
"Hey!" And I jumped in fear.
I started hitting him. "Are you crazy? You scared me!"
"I know. That's why Zach told me to come to shopping with you. He said to not leave you out of my sight for a second. It isn't safe Josie why don't you listen to him?"
"Fine, whatever. I have to reach home before my dad does." I sat in the car.
"Mind if I tag along? You'll have a good reason to be late just in case your dad reaches home early, I'll help you lie." Matt said sitting in the passengers seat.
We drove back to my house singing songs and stuff. We hung out in the backyard for a while and played some basketball.
"Hey Matt, how are you? It's been a while." My dad said entering the backyard.
"Yes Mr. Williams. How have you been?"
"All good son. And please call me Roger. How is it you don't come any more often?" He asked.
"Your daughter is rude to me to even invite me here. Today I invited myself."
"Well why don't you come stay over some night? I know you and Zach are best friends since childhood."
"Sure, I'll talk to Zach about it."
"Great, you kids enjoy. I'll be in my room."
I stared at Matt and if looks could kill, he'd die ASAP!
"What?" He asked.
"You're my father's pet!" I said and sat on the step of the door.
"No I'm not. I barely have any idea how ideal parents react and your parents are very welcoming."
