Start of x The x Third Phase

You were standing behind a corner so Killua couldn't see or sense you on the ship towards the third phase. If you were honest, you didn't know why you were tailing him in the first place. Maybe because you were worried...

"My family consists of assassins." You suddenly heard Killua say.

It made you feel better in a way. You didn't have to worry about carrying that secret on any further because the rest will know soon as well.

"Oh really?! That's so cool!" Gon responded. He responded way calmer than normal people did, which caught you of guard and made you chuckle.

Killua looked back, at your location, stood up to look and saw you. You didn't move from your spot so you let him find you. "Onēsan? Something wrong?"

You petted his head and smiled. "Nope. I'm just proud of you." After that you walked away and fell asleep in a random room.

Time skip!

"To all participants: We have arrived, please step out of the airship."

You woke up, straightened your clothes and stood up. "Already?"

Everyone gathered out the aircraft on an enormous pillar. You could barely see the ground from up there.

The aircraft left and someone began speaking through some invisible speakers. "Hello everyone. I'm the proctor for the third phase, get down from this tower in 72 hours. Good luck~!"

"Just getting down huh?" There was no way you could climb down, that much was sure. Then there's only one option left.

You walked to some kind of stone that looked quite loose and stepped on it with one foot. The plate made a 180° turn, telling you that you'd actually have stood on it.

Knowing that, you walked up to another one that looked loose, jumped on it and fell down. Looking around, it was quite a spacious room. There was door, that's been locked. Five things that looked like watches and some text.

You read the text and put on one of the five watches. Now all you could do was wait.

And wait

And wait

And wait

"Ughhh." You sighed, you've been sitting there for at least 15 minutes but your patience was already gone.

And yet you had to wait

And wait

And wait

And wait

And— "Agg—!" Someone suddenly yelled.

You looked around in the room and to absolutely no one's surprise, there are Kurapika, Killua, Gon and Leorio. They all looked at you and wore a smile on their faces, which confused you even more than them all falling down at the same time.

"Well that was a brief goodbye." Kurapika stated.

You had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. "Well, we're with five now, let's get going."

They all looked around, found the watches and put them on. Gon read the sign. "Press X to open the door, press O to not open the door."

(I don't remember how this all went soo stick with me please)

Obviously everyone pressed X and the doors opened. You were the first to step through, followed by the other four. "Just hurry up."

"Why are you in such a rush?" Kurapika questioned.

"Oh, I don't know." You said in a very sarcastic tone. "Perhaps because I had to wait for you to come down here."

Gon chuckled sheepishly as he scratched the back of his neck. "Haha! Sorry about that!"

And you all continued through many doors, many weird obstacles that were actually pretty easy to avoid but Leorio managed to set them off each time and other stuff.

Eventually you reached some kind of weird platform with no way to actually get on it. It was lit by some torches and on the other side you felt some presences.

One of the presences stepped forward. "Good day. Here each of you will battle one of us. If you reach three or more wins, you may pass. If not... You'll be stuck here. I'm up first so who goes first on your side?"

You looked at the man and sighed. "I'll go first."

"What?!" Leorio shouted. "Why?! Don't you see he's crazy strong?!"

You simply nodded as the pathway to the platform appeared. Killua grinned and whispered: "Beat him, nee-san."

"You can do it!" Gon yelled.

You had almost forgotten that Gon knows the secret. Kurapika kept silent, not saying anything.

The man and you reached the other side and he began speaking. "I didn't expect a little girl but... oh well."

"Wanna do a death match? The one who dies first loses." You proposed with a stoic expression on your face.

The man smirked, already assuming he's going to win. "I wanted to suggest the exact same." He took a few steps backwards and got in a fighting stance.

"(Y/n)! Are you crazy?!" Leorio yelled... Still not believing you could pull it off.

You looked at the four and grinned. "You'll find your answer here, Leorio, Kurapika so stay quiet and watch."

3rd person's PoV

"Ready?" The man asked. "Start!"

He charged at (Y/n), who was still standing on the same place with her eyes locked on her opponent. The man jumped up and charged down with one arm pointed at her.

A smirk appeared on the girl's face. "If I get to fight, why not have some fun?" She dodged the man's attack and her bloodlust began leaking, making her opponent take a few steps backwards.

"(Y/n)!" Killua yelled. "Snap out of it!"

(Y/n) blinked a few times, looked at Killua and her bloodlust went away rapidly. "Haha.... Oops. Let's just end this quickly. We don't want everyone to die... Ne?"

The man's smirk had disappeared and (Y/n) had gotten her right knife out of its pocket. "Fun..." She whispered and before anyone could see what had happened, the man's heart had been cut out of his chest.

The girl held her opponents heart in her hand. Her opponent had a perfectly cut out circle in his chest and was laying on his back, almost no blood dripping anywhere.

Killua held a grin on his face while Leorio and Kurapika were both shocked. Gon... Well... It looked like he expected something like that.

(Y/n) put the heart of her opponent down on the ground and sighed. "This was done way too quickly."

The bridges appeared again and she joined back up with the others. Leorio was still in a shocked state while Kurapika managed to speak up. "H-How?"

Gon beamed up and smiled brightly. "Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you two! Killua and (Y/n) are assassins!"

"From the Zoldyck family to be exact." (Y/n) added. She walked to the back of the 'room' they were staying in and leaned against a wall. "I'm going to sleep."

"What?!" Leorio yelled out. "You can't just sleep after saying that you're a Zoldyck!"

"Hmm? Something wrong with that?" (Y/n) asked.

Killua stepped in front of her and crossed his arms. "Nee-san, you're as troublesome as mom and dad described you. Leorio, leave her alone."

Leorio made a scared face, took a few steps backwards and pushed his glasses up. "Hmpf. Fine."

(Y/n) closed her eyes and soon fell asleep.
