*10 years later*

The last ten years with Charlie has felt like a life time of memories. After we got married he started building our very own house on the top of the hill , next to the barn he proposed to me at. It was a gorgeous four bedroom home with a lovely garden out back for me. After our first son was born he left the mines and went into contracting, helping the builders restore the town. He enjoyed it much more. We had three beautiful boys and I was pregnanct with our forth , a little girl. I've never seen Charlie as happy as I did when he became a father. He loved them very much.

We have ; Tucker who is 10 , Kason who is 8 and Silas who is 4. Baby Carley was due in two months. Her brother's were really excited to meet her. I think Charlie was more excited to spoil her than anything. After having Tucker I left my job at the pit to be a seamstress so I could work from home. A lot of the women created new jobs around the town to make it easier . I had told them about all of the different jobs they had in Faylea and to which some they thought would be an asset. Norview has really grown since then. We had a fully functioning police office again -which the gaurd ran of course - a few bakeries in town , a small clinic and even a school . A lot has changed and a lot has improved. Charlie and I couldn't have been more happy with our lives.

"Morning my love ." Charlie said, placing a kiss to my lips while he rested his hand on my belly. "And how are you doing ?" He said bending down as Carley kicked where his hand lied earning a smile from him. "Are the boys ready ?" He asked getting back up.

"Yup. Boys ! Dad's waiting!" I called hearing them run down the hall with their backpacks in hand. The school was a great place for all the children to learn new things. It was nice to know that once they turned 10 they didn't have to go to work like we did but had the opportunity to learn until 16 and then have a choice in what they did after. I was happy that they had a better life than we did.

"Bye mom." They all said giving me a kiss while Charlie laughed walking them to school. I loved my new life. I would've never imagined this life for myself.  I would've never had this life with Linus or Seth. I don't even know what would've become of me if Charlie never saved me from them. I thought it was better to forget about it rather than dwell on what never would've been. I had a lovely life , one I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. And I was happy. What more could I ask for ?

"And they taught us to count . Did you know there's more numbers after a hundred mom ?" Tucker said enthusiastic while I glanced over at Charlie with a smile.

"There is ? That's lovely baby." I said as he went back to eating his dinner.

"And I learned my colours. This is blue." Silas said proud pulling at his blue shirt. They all loved to show off what they learned during the day and it made Charlie and I so happy to see them happy. After putting them to bed, I feel Charlie's arms wrap around me from behind as I put my hair up for bed.

"I love you so much." He said as I turned around in his arms.

"And I love you. You've given me more than I deserve. We have a perfect life with three incredibly smart boys and a healthy baby girl on the way and it's all thanks to you."

"Let's be honest , you did most of the work." He said teasingly .

"I'm being serious." I said laughing while he pulled me down unto his lap.

"Me too. You're Amazing Vee. And you're an even better mother to our kids. I would've never thought in my wildest dreams to end up with you, but I did. And I love you each and every day for it. "

"Why wouldn't I have liked you ? You're amazing." I said with a smile , rubbing my hand over his shirt.

"Who ? A goof like me ?" He asked laughing.

"Charlie Greene, I love you just as you are. You're my world. I wouldn't change a thing. "

"You sure ? Cause I could call up -"

"Don't you dare !" I gasped - acting offended - as he laughed pulling me down on the bed while we looked at eachother lovingly. We were happy. Really happy. I've had some really rough days at Faylea where I thought I would never see home again , but I did. And it was all thanks to Charlie. Now don't go thinking I was with him because I felt obligated to either cause that was so far from the truth it wasn't even funny. I loved Charlie . Always have since the day he sat next to me on the steps. He was my best friend , my husband , the father of my children and now ... my forever.

He was My Charlie.

Thank you all so much for reading. If you're familiar with my work you know my chapters are usually longer - escpially my epilogue - and that I like to have 30+ of them. But this story was a little different. I wasn't sure where I wanted this story to go but I think the ending was perfect and the length was ideal. Thank you all for reading. Feel free to check out the rest of my work as well. Until next time keep howling my wolves ❤🐺
