Your POV
So out of all the days, today Diavolo showed up at the House of Lamentation followed closely by Barbatos saying that he has a surprise for us. He also specifically asked us to wear very comfortable clothes (preferably sports wear). You see, during the last time he came for tea with Lucifer, I told him about this place were i used to go with my parents when i was younger, an underground salt mine that was turned into a touristic attraction and there were several things you could do there, such as rock climbing and other things. At first he seemed genuinely interested in just listening to me talk about it, but later on he gave me that mischievous grin of his, that told me he was going to get up to something... Something probably very tiring for Lucifer and his brothers. Well that day probably came, as i guessed from the fact that Diavolo showed up, dressed head to toe in a very athletic outfit grinning like Satan when he was about to say something smart to Lucifer . Reluctantly the brothers headed straight to the door, i was going to do the same but then i felt someone's hands on my shoulders. I looked down and I see a pair of tan hands gently but shakily gripping my shoulders. I look up, already knowing it was Mammon, he looks down at me and whispers. " I heard we're going somewhere on a mountain" i place my hands on top of his reassuringly and smile at him "Are you scared?" "wha-what?! no! the great Mammon could never be scared! " "Mammon it's ok to be scared. Everyone has something they're afraid of. Even Lucifer is afraid of something. You don't need to be embarrassed. Now let's go." i saw as i grab his hand entwining our fingers as i drag him out huge oak front door of the house. Right in front of the house, Diavolo has two black SUVs waiting. Now this is what i mean when i say traveling with the demon prince. I drag Mammon to the car as he sumbles behind me. We get inside and i sit down between Mammon and Asmo . As the car starts moving Asmo turns to me and gives me a goofy smile " Y/n! At least i get to sit with you. Where do you think we're going?" "I don't know i have a feeling we're gonna have to move a lot today" i say not wanting to spoil the surprise. "Oooooh~ what if it's a strip club?~" he says giggling. I laugh and say "Ooooh yes i would love that! Hey Asmo wanna accompany me in getting on the pole?" i say as i offer my hand to him mimicking an 1800 gentleman. "ahaha, of course but only if you promise to get into one of those skimpy little stripper outfits too~" he says smirking and taking my hand with both of his and bringing it to his cheek. "Oi! Hands off, Asmo!" Mammon says while grabbing my hand and taking it in his own and placing both carefully on his thigh. "And you ain't goin' to no strip club! You're stayin' here with me!" he then realizes what he had just said and done and quickly lets go of my hand while blushing furiously.
"B-because it ain't safe! Th-that's why!" he says while crossing his arms. I smile at him and slither my right hand under his arm while tugging it and gently hugging it while giggling "I didn't say anything, bunny." Oh that nickname. The nickname i gave him and often use to tug at his heart strings or to simply tease him. As soon as he heard it he became an even darker shade of red. He looks at me wide eyed then quickly looks at way not knowing what to do. I then look back at Asmo only to see him smirking again. He then puts his hand on my thigh. Oh i knew exactly what he was doing. He was teasing Mammon, trying to get him to admit his feelings for me. I decided to play along and i gently tug on Mammon's arm. He looks down at me and i gesture with milt eyes to my thigh, he looks at it and i can swear i could almost see his eyes jumping out . With his free hand he quickly grabs Asmo's hand and snaps it away while freeing the hand i was holding and putting it around my shoulder and bringing me closer to him all the while his other hand was placing my legs over his own in a way that my legs were in between his and i was almost sitting on his lap. I didn't expect him to do that and although i felt the blood rushing to my cheeks i didn't lose my composure and i leaned onto him while hugging his waist and laying my head on his chest. I started feeling a little dizzy so i decided to close my eyes and maybe take a nap. Soon enough i was almost asleep and i felt someone's hand caressing my back gently going to my arm and then running their fingers through my hair. After a while i felt myself fall asleep, but in that dozed off state i felt someone leaning in and whispering in my ear "i love you" then i felt a soft kiss being placed on my head and so i fell asleep completely. I sort of knew or at least hoped it was Mammon since i had feelings for the greedy demon. It sounded like his voice, but a bit raspier. I have no idea why i didn't say anything, maybe i was too dizzy or maybe i was afraid to say anything because i wasn't sure if i heard it right. But soon enough the car comes to a stop and the driver says in a stern voice " we're here". I felt Mammon gently shake me awake while sweetly saying "hey...hey, y/n... come on wake up...we're here..". I finally wake up and open my eyes, only to be met with Mammon's beautiful blue eyes, right now i'm so happy that i can't contain myself so i flung my arms around his neck and whisper "thanks for being my cuddle buddy and my pillow, bunny." I then felt his face heat up so i open the door of the car and wait for him to get out. He climbs out hesitantly while inspecting the surroundings and gently offering me a hand to help me out as i climb out as well. And as i step on the ground i see exactly what i was thinking of. The side of a mountain turned into a rock climbing path with obstacles. Not gonna lie it looks really cool but kinda scary. It's just like the one i used to go to but higher, so the fall would be even bigger. As i look back down i see Lord Diavolo signaling for us to come closer. So i grab Mammon's arm and we approach him. "Here we are!!" he says in an excited tone. "So one day i was talking to a little birdie and i heard that humans have this kind of activities for entertainment purposes, and i decided that, what other way to have a nice active weekend, than go rock climbing?" Lucifer figured out who he was talking about so he turned to glare at me for a second and i mouthed an honest sorry to which he sighed and turned back to Diavolo, who was already grabbing the equipment. He and Brabatos hands each one of us the very familiar looking attire that i easily slide on and tighten the straps while grabbing the two hooks in my hand and hanging them by one of the buckles. I then look over to see Barbatos helping the rest to put on the gear as Asmo and Levi were struggling and Belphie couldn't care less as he was already asleep on a bench. I then look at Mammon to see him trying to untangle the straps all the while trying to keep the hooks out of the way. I approach him and start taking his gear off as it's completely wrong. "Oi, human what are ya doin' ?" " just shut up and let me do it,ok?" " he was going to say something but then decided against it so he just spread his arms and let me put it on him. As i easily slide it on him i started to firmly tighten his straps, but i can feel him staring down at me while i was doing so, then i decide to mess with him a little and when i was done i grab the straps and yank him down so that our faces are a few centimeters apart. He stars blushing wanting to say something but not knowing what so his mouth just hangs slightly open. Feeling in control i look in his eyes then at his lips and lean in a little as he starts closing his eyes and leaning in too then i tilt my head so that i'm next to his ear and whisper "here are your hooks" as i place the hooks in his hand. I then quickly turn around and walk away leaving him hanging. As Diavolo checks to see if everyone is ready his eyes stumble upon Belphie who is still sleeping, but this time on a log. "Could someone please wake him up?" Lucifer says. " Oh don't even try, no one can wake him up, he sleeps like a log...on a log" i say as everyone bursts into laughter and i even see Lucifer chuckling a little. We then start climbing. Diavolo was the first ons to get on. His amazing physique was a good attribute, but due to his huge body, his balance was a little off. He began the first obstacle course that was at the base. He was doing pretty well but then he got stuck as he got to this obstacle that he didn't know how to pass through. "Y/n! Since you used to do this as a kid, could you perhaps help me a little?" he says looking a bit nervous. Of course i knew, it was pretty easy too, but of course i wasn't a beginner, and he was doing this for the first time so of course he didn't know how to. I smile confidently as i say " cominggg!" and i eagerly sprint towards the start. I put my hooks in quickly (compared to Diavolo who struggled to put them in the right way for about 5 minutes until Barbatos helped him), i got through the obstacles in about 5 minutes, earning a few praises from Asmo and Levi who along with the other brothers were a little surprised as to how i was doing so well. I reach there to see Diavolo's hooks were placed the wrong way. So as i approach him he starts saying "thank-" but i cut him off by grabbing his hooks and taking them off the string and pushing them back on again the right way. "oh- so that's why i could move past this" Diavolo says looking a bit more relieved. "Yes, now you see those logs? The ones above are annoying because you can get hit in the head with them, but there's a string in the middle, the secret is to step on the logs, while holding the string and leaning on your back like so" i say as i show him how to do it. "would you like to try or do you want me to go first so you can see how i do it?" he nods and so i step on the logs. This particular obstacle was a bit tricky so i had to be very careful with my balance but i quickly finished and was on the other side. I look at Diavolo who is starting to get through it but suddenly he stops. He then looks up at me with pleading eyes and i go back to him. " Here. Put your foot there and move your hand along the string. Yes like that lean on your back now . And hold on tight. Now move your left foot and your other hand closer to this log... Now your other foot. Great! You're doing it! Now follow me and do it exactly the same way... No, no, don't tilt your head you're gonna touch the log... Alright here we go we're almost at the end... Awesome you did it!" We're finally on the other side and Diavolo looks relieved. "Thanks a lot, y/n. You're an amazing teacher,you know that?". "I am?" "yes you are, the brothers are very lucky to have you around all the time." " Thanks, Lord Diavolo" " oh come on, just Diavolo, we're friends, aren't we?" "yes, yes we are" i say smiling. I then continue the path until i reach this one obstacle and remember about the boys so i decide to look down and see what they're doing. Asmo is on his phone, Mammon is looking at me and he looks terrified i can't tell if he's scared for me or for himself, Belphie is still sleeping on the log, Beel started climbing and was with Diavolo, Lucifer is at the base but he's also climbing, Levi is playing on his switch and Satan is reading something on his devilbook (the alternative for a kindle). "Hey guys!!"
i yell and they all look up at me. I don't think i've seen Satan and Asmo more wide eyed. They're looking at me as if i'm a headless chicken. But it's probably just because i'm swinging on a log that is hanging by a rope and they are sitting on their asses doing nothing. "How about you stop being scaredy-cats and get up here!" as soon as i say that i can see Satan get up and mumble something about not being a scaredy-cat. Surprisingly Mammon rushes to the start and starts climbing too. I actually thought he would just watch since he looked so scared down there. I continue climbing and i get to this wall with metal handles i supposedly had to climb so i go on and after about 10 minutes i'm on the other side resting on this cliff . I look behind me and to my surprise there's a cave there. I decide to go in there but before i can get the chance to i hear someone slipping and shrieking. Sounds like the one and only...Mammon. I go to look down and i see him struggling on the wall. How did he get up here so quick ? That doesn't matter now because i have to help him, so i take my hooks and put th back on the wire and start climbing down to help him. " Hey, it's ok, i'm here calm down what's wrong?" " Dammit my foot slipped n for a second i thought i was gonna fall " he says looking nervous. " Alright do u need help?" " What? the Great Mammon doesn't need help!" " Ok then i'm going back" " No! Please help me..." he says looking the other way in embarrassment. " Alright. Now how about you put your left foot here...Yes like that and grab this handle over here...No, with your left hand...Yes and now pull yourself here...Yea... Ok now here is the harder part, this one is a little further away so you have to move this hand here and the other on there.. Alright now pull yourself up and put your foot here... Exactly, you're doing amazing now keep going" he looks up at me as i'm signaling for him to follow me and smiles shyly. Geez he's adorable when he does that. Just when i thought my work was over the last part of the course came and it was a little harder because the last handle was further away and you either had to jump really far or you had to pull yourself really hard. I climb over but just as i got off i felt it shaking a little. Mammon was right behind me however when he touched the handle my instincts kicked in and i grabbed his hand just in time. He looked at me with a very confused look on his face " The hell are ya doin' ?! Let go i'm gonna fall, it ain't the time for holdin' hands, y/n!" " calm down" i say calmly as i grab the handle and easily lift it up as it breaks off from the wall. "See? it's broken" i say holding it up. "Oh..But how do i get up there now?" he asks looking a little more scared than before. " i have an idea. wait a second." i say as i run back and click my hooks onto a stray wire. I knew i wouldn't be able to pull him up as he was too heavy but i could use the gear for support. So i go back quickly and give him my hand. He looks up at me confused. " Are ya crazy?! Ya won't be able to pull me up! I'm too heavy!" " Mammon." " No! no, you're gonna fall!And if i fall too and land on top of ya, i'm gonna crush ya!" " Mammon!" he stops rambling and looks up at me with a worried look on his face. "If you don't get up here your arms and legs are gonna get sore and you'll fall" i then give him a reassuring smile and extend my arm for him to take my hand
"so trust me"
he looks at me wide eyed and nods quietly . Suddenly i feel his hand in mine and i start pulling up as he pushes himself up and after a few seconds and a lot of effort, he's laying on his back next to me panting as i'm sitting down doing the same. After a couple of minutes of resting i get up and look down at the white haired demon laying on the ground. "Hey...get up" he looks at me as if wanting to tell me to leave him a alone but does as told. I take his hand and entwine our fingers as i lead him to the cave. He looks at me slightly blushing but confused at the same time. " How didn't i notice this was here?" he says looking up at the cave brushing a hand through his hair. We then go inside, only to discover that as we go deeper inside the cave gets darker and darker. We then reach the end, where we see a beautiful pond, lit up by hundreds of fluorescent stones. And as if on cue i stumble over a rock and let out a small shriek and a bunch of bats come flying out above our heads.
3rd POV
Even if you weren't much of a scaredy-cat, the bats startled you, so you turn to Mammon who is right behind you and you hug him snuggling you face inside his chest while he reluctantly puts his arms around you. After a few seconds however he starts getting comfortable so he pulls you closer and begins running his fingers up and down your back to comfort you. He then lets out a chuckle seeing how adorable you look when you're scared. "Runnin' to the Great Mammon for help, are ya?" he says proudly. "Oh cut it out, i'm not scared...I just felt like hugging you..." you say as you pout a little. He chuckles again, now he's starting to get a lot more comfortable, as the others aren't around and he can finally be alone with you. "Where's the confidence ya had a little while ago, little one?" you then remember the little stunt you pulled on him earlier today. Your confidence kind of went out the window the moment those bats appeared. But you aren't going to let him know that, aren't you? So you look up at him and slowly bring your hands up to his neck and pull him down to your level. He then starts blushing furiously once again. "who's lost their confidence now,huh?" you say feeling in control again. As you catch him off guard you carefully put your foot behind his and suddenly jerk it towards you as his foot slips and he falls on his back dragging you down with him. " What did ya do that for?!" he says as you look at him innocently. He really does look adorable even when he's angry. As you felt adrenaline surge through your body, you decide that maybe you should just try your luck, since you have both the time and opportunity to do it. You carefully get on top of Mammon and sit on his lap, legs on either side of his. You slowly wrap your hands around his neck once again while grinning up at him. He looks at you a look of nervousness mixed with confusion on his face. "I heard you in the car earlier today" you say smiling innocently at him. He then begins stuttering and blushing nervously while scratching the back of his neck. "Wha-what are ya talking about, h-human? I-i didn't say anything hahah..." he says looking around, avoiding your gaze. You then carefully cup his cheeks turning his face so that you're making eye contact. His eyes look so bright and beautiful in the light of those stones. And so you stare at each other for what feels like hours.
Mammon's POV
I was lookin' at them and i couldn't believe they were right there in front of me sittin' on my lap lookin' at me with that sweet look on their face. The way their eyes sparkle and the way their face is lit up by the light being reflected by the water. The brightest most beautiful person i've ever met. It took me a long time to be able to accept that i've fallen for them but it's pretty obvious at this point and there's no reason to be hidin' it anymore. So if they did hear me then i'm ready to face whatever response they have for me. Just as i'm deep in my thoughts i hear them sayin' softly "i love you too" . It was almost a whisper but it was enough for me. It was enough to make my heart skip a beat and my blood to rush up to my cheeks. It was a all i needed to lean in and gently kiss them.
Your POV
Just as i said that i see Mammon leaning in and cupping my cheek as he gently kissed me. What started as a gentle and sweet kiss turned into a passionate display of affection as his hands started to wanted all over my body ending up on my hips pulling me in as mine were all the way up in his hair gently pulling on it as both our bodies' temperature was going up by the second. Just then we hear Levi yell in the distance "FINALLY! We're finally at the top! I'm never doing this again!" which was followed by what sounded like someone getting a good old very fatherly back hand over their head. "Ouch! What was that for?!" Levi is yelling once again. We pull away panting and the burst into laughter as we slowly get up and look at the beautiful sight before us before the brothers finally walk inside and we are met with 7 pairs of eyes gauging at us. They probably put two and two together as both of us are a mess our hair ruffled, my gear slightly unbuckled and both our faces red as tomatoes. Aside from that i'm resting my head very comfortably on his chest as his arms are resting around me holding me close to him.
"Oooh~ Y/n and Mammon finally decided to get down to business~" Asmo cooed as the brothers either snickered or blushed furiously and Diavolo giggled like a schoolgirl. So that was that, we were caught and cornered and we would probably never her the end of it, but we don't really care to be honest. As i looked up into the adorable demon's eyes i understood that it will be just fine.
