Chapter 7: First Day

"Hannela! Get up! We're going to be late!" shouted Hermione in my face.

I shot up out of bed freaking out. I was going to be late on my first day! I glanced at the alarm clock...

"Uh, Mione? It's literally 6 o'clock.." I said clearly annoyed.

"Exactly! We need to have a good impression on our teacher!" Said Hermione.

"Ugh, fine..." I got up, dressed in my uniform and robes, and I tried to control my hair. I wanted it to be ginger red so I focused really hard. When I opened my eyes it was red!

"Hey, Mione. I'm going to read the rest of my textbooks since we have an hour before breakfast starts." I told her.

"Okay, good idea. I should do the same!" Replied Hermione.

45 minutes later, Hermione practically dragged me to the Great Hall even though there was still 15 minutes left before it actually starts.

"Mione! Dumbledore isn't even here yet! Why's are we here so early?" I asked. Now there were a few red streaks and purple in my hair.

"This is a good thing! We get all the best food first like bacon and pancakes! Also, we get a good impression on our professors!" She replied.

"I do like the sound of bacon," I said excitedly. I never got bacon. Only like a crumb of it at the Dursley's.

5 minutes later, Dumbledore entered with a few of the professors. He smiled at us and walked to his seat. But then Snape entered with Professor Quirrell.

"Ow! My scar hurts..." I said while rubbing it.

I stared at him until he was seated. Soon a swarm of students entered. Dumbledore snapped and food appeared everywhere.

I saw a big plate of bacon and I picked up the whole thing. "Yum! Bacon!"

"What are you doing!? Give me some!" Harry and I started fighting over the big plate.

"Get your own!" I yelled at him.

"Is there a problem Miss and Mister Potter?" Asked snape.

We both looked down and shook our heads. I looked up and I swear I saw a glint of sadness in his eyes. He walked away and a few minutes later, Ms. McGonagall started passing the timetables.

"Hey, I have Transfiguration next! What about you guys?" I asked Ron, Hermione, and Harry.

"Me too!" They all said together.

Then Hermione grabbed my arm, "Wait! Mione! I didn't finish my bacon!"

"That's okay. We need to explore the school so we won't get lost." Hermione smiled at me and continued dragging me.

"Nooooo baconnn.."

To be honest, I was glad we went early. It took us almost 15 minutes to find the class.

We were the first ones there and we saw a cat sitting on the desk.
