The train pulled up and everyone exited. Hagrid was waiting for us.

"Right, then! First years! This way, please! Come on, now, don't be shy! Come on now, hurry up!"

"Hi, Hagrid!" I said.

"Hello, Hannela. Hello, Harry." He replied back.

"Right then. This way to the boats! Come on, now, follow me." Hagrid led us to a dock with a lot of boats.

I, Harry, and Ron went into one boat. Once we got settled in, the boat took off. There was fog everywhere.

Harry nudged me, "Look! It's amazing!"

I looked at what he was staring at and I gasped in shock. It was a beautiful large castle. How is this even a school??

We all got out of our boats when we arrived. We followed Hagrid a hall and went upstairs.

"Thank you, Hagrid. You may go now." Said a professor.

"All right, thank you, Ms. McGonagall." Hagrid left and Ms. McGonagall greeted us.

"Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a few moments, you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. But before you can take your seats you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin." There were a few kids snickering at the name 'Slytherin' "Now, while you are here, your house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn your house points. Any rule-breaking, and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup-"

"TREVOR!" Yelled Neville.

He quickly scooped up a frog that was standing in front of Ms. McGonagall. She looked a bit shock but continued her speech.

"The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily." She left through some big doors and we all just waited.

"It's true then, what they're saying on the train. Harry and Hannela. Potter has come to Hogwarts."

I heard whispers everywhere. I quickly looked at who's talking. Oh gosh, it was that annoying boy from the robe shop.

"This is Crabbe and Goyle and I'm Malfoy...Draco Malfoy." Said Draco. He stuck out his hand

Ron started snickering at his name.

"Ron! Don't be rude!" I smacked his arm.

"Think my name's funny, do you? No need to ask yours. Red hair and a hand me down robe? You must be a Weasley. Well soon find that some wizarding families are better than others, Potter. Don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there." Said Draco in a rude tone.

Before Harry could answer, "Sorry, but no. Although Ron was rude, you didn't have to be rude back. Anyways I think I can tell the difference between the wrong sort." I smiled and wave bye at him.

He glared at me before he could say anything, "Ahem!"

Ms. McGonagall was back. "We're ready for you now." We all followed her into the Great Hall and there were four tables which I was guessing were the houses. "All right, will you wait along here, please?"
