"Mama gon be mad" Amir giggles munching on a candy bar
"She might" I nod carrying him around the backyard on my back. "what do you want to do first? We could swim first then ride the bumper cars and drive our four-wheelers later"
"Mmm wheelers first!"
"No swim first!" Delilah huffs
"Dada" Milan hums patting my leg
"Yes?"
"I wanna turtle"
I just told Lauren I wouldn't buy anything
"You should ask your God dad when he comes"
"He coming to see me?" shaking my leg excitedly Milan screams. "ah!"
"Milan!"
Looking back towards the door leading to we saw Lauren dressed in a light blue romper.
"Bye Dada" waving Milan took off running in her direction
"Elijah we're stepping out for a bit, don't call me! Hey Squirt! Hey Dee!"
"Mama leaving me" Amir whimpers trying to wiggle down my back, holding him slightly tighter I shook my head. "stop mama leaving me"
"She'll be back, don't worry"
"You sure?"
Chuckling I nod leading him and Delilah to the four-wheelers.
"Of course I'm sure"
"He good?" Lauren asks stepping into the backyard, nodding I waved her off. "Kay bye, I love y'all!"
"Love you, Mama!"

|Four hours later|
Handing both Delilah and Amir bath toys while they sat with their backs to each other in the tub.
Now and then they would throw a rubber football over their hands so they could take turns playing with it.
"Daddy, when Mama coming back? She said we can make memo breed today" Delilah questions turning and laying her head on the tub wall
"Princess it's called monkey bread and I'm not sure what time she's coming back"
"I miss Mama" Amir mutters copying Delilah's actions
"She probably misses you more" pulling out the drain I held out both of their towels. "come on it's time to get out"
"Movie time?" Delilah smirks wiggling her eyebrows, kind of like what Lauren does when she's being mischievous.
Drying them off I helped them put on their underwear correctly.
"Yes, hopefully when it's over your mom and sister will be back for dinner"
"Call her to please" Amir murmurs reaching for my phone while covering himself with his Nemo blanket
She told me not to call. . . Screw it
Dialing her number I pressed call hearing it ring, it ringed for a while before going to voicemail.
Checking her location showed that she was here.
Why didn't she tell me she's back?
"When you finish getting the dress you can pick a movie with your brother" pinning Delilah's hair I slid my phone into my pocket
"What about Mama and Mimi?" Amir frowns tripping over his shirt. Before I could help him up he smacks my hands away jumping up."I'm okay"
"I'm going to get them"
