It was already past noon when Xena had her lunch in the kitchen with her new found companion, Joyce who seemed really hungry as she munched down her croissant. At this pace, Xena feared for the maid's throat and she seemingly have taken all that bread down her mouth like a pro....with a few choke here and there and joked about her having the ultimate ability of gagging? What's that supposed to mean?

Anyway, Xena's day was filled with comfort and chillin, as Joyce would put it, but the General couldn't help but feel uneasy under such comforting circumstances in the palace of her enemy. Right from the morning she found herself oversleeping without any disturbance from any of the royalties nor did Joyce wake her up too. It was an amazing morning since she never oversleeps before ever since she moved to Fern palace.

Then came the realization of the rather quiet hallway without a single trace of any council members which, WOW, was a miracle. Other than Joyce, Xena was practically alone and ironically found herself in boredom since the maid was busy as well. She just lingered around the dining room, the throne room and at the plaza where she met some guards and soldiers who surprisingly showed her respect even when she's the enemy. Then again, she's The General and anyone in the military of any kingdom would've done the same. She's a force to be reckon with after all.

Then came the utter shock of the young king's absence that even the servants in the palace found it questionable. Usually their young king would be very active around the castle with either his work, his cousin or his council members. His presence is very easy to recognize and hard to go unnoticed but this morning felt like a breeze as his shadow never casted over the hallways nor the rooms. Even the maids had to discard the royalties' breakfast because no one showed up in the dining room.

A bored sigh left Xena's mouth as she stared into nothingness with one cheek squished against her palm. The washing area in the kitchen was filled with floating plates and utensils as they danced back to the shelves. The source was obviously from the melanin girl who was humming and bouncing on her feet while cleaning dishes. Her Air power was favoring her benefiting her a lot in her job but if she was caught by the court lady, or worse, the king himself for using power in work, Joyce's head will get chopped off like a broccoli. And Jimin hates broccoli.

Xena frowned at herself for letting the young king flashed across her mind for the hundredth time today. She shook her head and huffed before shifting in her heated seat. "Ay Asian chick, fetch me that pot", Joyce said with her back still facing the General. "You're able to float these plates but doesn't want to get the pot?", Xena sounded annoyed but brought the pot anyway. It's kinda in her instinct to respond well to requests and commands and that's kinda sad too, being so obedient and all.

"Lifting the pot will exceed my power's limit, babe", Joyce nonchalantly stated before taking the pot from Xena and washed it. Her reply made the General arched a brow and tilted her head. To her knowledge of powers, she was sure that Air is one of the few powers that can be quite unfair when it comes to limitations with their overloaded advantages and benefits. So for Joyce to state that sounded a little.....confusing.

"Limit? What limit? Air can lift up anything, can't it?", Xena leaned back against one of the kitchen counter with crossed arms. Joyce let out a chuckle and lightly shook her head while continued to work. "Yes and no. My one of power's limits is lifting things that are heavier than me. Only trained vessels can do that. It's like a game. If you train more, you'll unlock more abilities", Joyce shrugged and scrubbed the pot harshly to get rid of the stains.

Xena looked away for a minute and hummed in approval as she connected the dots for herself. It's true though. The Ferns trained her well and now she's practically invincible when it comes to strength. She had gained the power to destroy almost everything and move almost all things but of course she never mess with mother nature because everyone knows what She is capable of. Other than that, she's almost reaching the top tier in her power.
